In Koranic theology all Jewish prophets including the founder of the Hebrew tribe in Judea, Abraham, were Moslems. This might come as a surprise to the Mesopotamian born Abraham or Ibrahim, since he only lived some 2500 years before Muhammad created the cult named Submission. Abraham's monotheism had nothing whatsoever in common with the astral moon deity named the 'one' or ilah [Allah]. The two concepts are poles apart in orientation, intent, background and in observance.

Abraham's Yahweh or Godly idea, was a covenant between humans and the higher power. Humans had rights and responsibilities and had to adhere to a contract with their deity. The divine source had rights and responsibilities and had to adhere to a contract with humans. It was a bargain.

Islam has no such ideal. Moslem theology is far cruder, simplistic and atavistic. Humans don't have free-will – only the ilah or 'one' does. Like Calvinism or dialectical Lutheranism, the human is useless, dirty, sinful and can do no good works in this life to garner the attention and mercy of a deity. No contracts are thus needed. The 'one' will simply predestined a chosen elect to enjoy an after-life. And the 'one' will just as simply condemn others – like infidels or Jews and Christians in Islamic liturgy – to hellfire and torment. The Koran is a very base imposition of complete submission to an idol, and a destruction of free-will.

But in Muhammad's great struggle to destroy Jewish and Christian power in Arabia during the 7^th century, the appropriation or theft of Jewish Old Testament and Toranic tradition was deemed essential to impart both justification and a salutary confirmation that his monotheism was both the same and better as the older forms of single deity worship. Thus Abraham becomes a Moslem. Noah, Moses and Jesus are also Islamic prophets. As verse 9 in this Sura exclaims:

14:9 - Has not the news reached you, of those before you, the people of Nuh (Noah), and 'Ad, and Thamud? And those after them? None knows them but Allah. To them came their Messengers with clear proofs, but they put their hands in their mouths (biting them from anger) and said: "Verily, we disbelieve in that with which you have been sent, and we are really in grave doubt as to that to which you invite us (i.e. Islamic Monotheism)."

History becomes rewritten in the fervid and distorted minds of the men who created the Koran. The long unfolding saga of the human story is rebuilt into a tale of Allah and Allah's struggle to show humans the sharia or truth of what he or it wants from humans. No bi-directional contracts here. Just submit and obey.

14:4, and 14:27 reiterate that Allah is the only force with free-will:

4:And We sent not a Messenger except with the language of his people, in order that he might make (the Message) clear for them. Then Allah misleads whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

27:Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this world (i.e. they will keep on worshipping Allah Alone and none else), and in the Hereafter. And Allah will cause to go astray those who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.), and Allah does what He wills.

As written before the Jews themselves have mixed up history and anthropology. There is no connection between the Assyrian tribe of Abraham and the Bedouin who formed the clans of Arabia in the 6^th and 7^th centuries of the C.E.

Anthropologically there are three main Arab tribes, only one of which might be termed 'Semitic': 
1) 'Perishing' Arabs: These are quite ancient Arab groups, existing before the time of Abraham. They are referenced in the Koran, and little or nothing is known about these groups. They include the ‘Ad, Thamûd, Tasam, Jadis, Emlaq, and others. They lived in the southern parts of the Arabian peninsula. 

2) 'Pure' Arabs: These are Arab tribes who originated from the progeny of the Arab leader Ya‘rub bin Qahtan. They were also called Qahtanian Arabs and existed during and after Abraham surviving into the modern era. 

3) 'Arabized' Arabs: This so-called group of non-Arabs who became Arabicized are from the progeny of Ishmael. They were also called ‘Adnanian Arabs. It is highly likely that they were Arabicized migrants from the north, who traveled to Arabia circa 2000 B.C. They were most likely Hebrew or Canaanite tribes who were looking for land and pasture and adopted the ways of the Bedouin. 

The link between Islam and Judaism is thus via the 'Arabicized Arab tribes' who migrated from Judea after the time of Abraham and who brought ideas of monotheism with them. From this we have the common antecedents of the Jewish and Arab groups running back through Isaac and Ishmael to their father Abraham. Thus in the Koran we find that Abraham and Ishmael built the Kabaa shrine – in fact some 900 years after Abraham died he apparently came back and built the 'cube' or Kabaa since the structure dates from the time of Christ. None of this is accurate or supported by archeologist or common-sense. Yet the myth that Islam is related to Judaism is the central feature of what we read in Koranic fantasy.

Because the Jews have rejected the 'true path' of Allah, and because the Jewish sect called Christianity practices polytheism in the form of the Holy Trinity, they must be attacked, reduced, humiliated and controlled by Moslems in this world; and given an eternity of torment by Allah in the next. Note that words such as 'disbelievers', 'criminals', 'wrong-doers', 'arrogant', 'astray', 'those who stray', 'greedy' etc. only apply to non-Moslems. Anyone who follows the cult is esteemed and worthy. Anyone who does not follow the cult must be fought against, striven against, attacked, and beaten and are certainly doomed by Allah in the next life to eternal torment.
What love, what tolerance.

The dichotomy of the world clove in two is impossible to miss. The Qur'an is the emblem of Allah's laws. Obey it and its messenger and you might be saved. Allah determines all and he will elect some to enjoy the fruits of paradise and the rest to repose in the fires of Hell. There is no free-will in the Koran. The crux is to mindlessly recite, ritualize and submit. Such an ethos has nothing in common with the teachings of Abraham or Old Testament Judaism. The Torah was and is very clear. Rationality, free-will and intelligence are the platforms upon which one uses to understand metaphysics and existential theology. For Moslems the opposite is true. Rationality, free-will and intelligence must be denied in order to submit and follow the Allah thing. Not to do so is to end up in hell, bound in fetters [14:49]; drinking boiling liquids [14:16], with your necks outstretched and your hearts empty due to fear [14:43]. This is what one would expect from a cult document.
