Suffering through the Koran, Sura 44 'Smoke Or Mist'.

Supremacism is not part of the 'religious'. Neither is racism. When an ideology is both supremacist and racist, and mandates the universal destruction of the 'other' it is not a spiritual program, but a political project. That is obvious. Yet the really smart people with no proof drone on that Islam is peace and wonderment, all because Sayed next door smiled and petted your little dog. Very convincing. Maybe these people should read Sura 44 for a re-education as to the purpose and intolerance of Islam and the Koran.

Sura 44 is about the end of time, and the terror that all infidels will face at that moment.  The Meccan male moon deity and family idol of Mohammed Ali-ilah or Allah, “hears and knows (all things)” [44:6]. He will thus know who is a real Muslim and who is not.  One day he will bring the fire and smoke of the final day, or in Islamic terminology the 'day of account'. As the smoke of destruction and the end of time rises, the Jews and infidels will be terrified. They have forsaken the moon cult and will now be punished by the moon deity; “Then you watch for the Day that the sky will bring forth a kind of smoke (or mist) plainly visible, Enveloping the people: this will be a grievous Penalty. (They will say:) 'Our Lord! Remove the penalty from us, for we do really believe!' [44:10-12]

So the Jews and Kaffirs on the day of account or judgment, will be so fearful that they will grovel for absolution and will realize and admit that Allah is the one and only God. But the moon deity will not grant them pity or redemption. The Jews especially will be made to suffer since they rejected the true words of Allah given apparently, when 'he' saved the Israelites from Egyptian slavery: 'We delivered aforetime the Children of Israel from humiliating punishment...We destroyed them because they were guilty of sin.” [44:30, 37]

The Jews were thus unwittingly, followers of the moon cult some 2000 years before the advent of Mohammedanism. A rather fascinating claim. Since the Jews rejected the true path or Sharia, they will be punished and eradicated by the moon deity – unless before the end of time they recant and embrace Islam: 'The Day when no protector can avail his client in anything, and no help can they receive, Except such as receive Allah's mercy...' [41-42].

And the punishment for the infidels will be fierce and torturous:

“..the food of the sinful, - Like molten brass; it will boil in their insides, Like the boiling of scalding water. (A voice will cry:) 'You seize him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire!' [44:44-47]

But for the Muslims the pleasures of heavenly delight await:

“As to the Righteous (they will e) in a position of security....So; and We shall join them to Companions with beautiful, big and lustrous eyes....Nor will they there taste Death....and He will preserve them from the penalty of the Blazing Fire,” [44:54,56]

Sura 44 is very obvious. If the infidels do not convert and comport themselves to Islamic Koranic practice, they will be eradicated, and tortured for eternity. For pious Muslims – especially male since the Koran has nothing to say about female Muslims – a rich booty of women, wine and serenity awaits in the after-life. Allah will save you from the fires of damnation and shall elevate you to the palaces of pleasure.

A spiritual program must have the Golden Rule or some invocation that all humans are the same and that all humanity deserves to be treated as you would want to be treated. Christianity and Zen Buddhism have this ideal. It leads to equality not only in social interaction but also in law, in matters of morality and in the personal pursuits of life at large. Any ideology which excludes 'others' or denigrates their humanity is not a religion but a pre-religious paganism. A construct which demands obedience, limits free and normal speech and worship and practice; calls for jihad and blood cleansing; and demands ritualized living is in the pure sense of the word fascistic.

So it is with the Arabian moon cult. No more a religion than any other pre-modern, pre-spiritual, and pre-rational absurdity. The importance of recognizing this is clear. Once you distinguish what makes a religion and what constitutes spiritual and social good practices, from what does not, you are better able and armed to identify the Islamic threat for what it is – namely an Arabian pagan fascism dedicated to universalist control and the complete annihilation of the individual and of rational progress.
