Reinterpreting Islam ?

Al Arabiya the Muslim news media outlet has a series on 'reinterpreting Islam'. Nice title, sounds like those peaceful Muslims are finally getting around to expunging the 98% of the Koran which is intolerant to unbelievers, infidels and which mandates Jihad, war, terror, and racism. Silly Kufar. Muslim 'leaders' are really busy blaming 1400 years of Islamic violence on esoteric Islamic legal scholars, born 700 years after the founding of the political ideology which parades around as a 'faith'.

According to Al Arabiya:

“A conference in Mardin in southeastern Turkey declared the fatwa by 14th century scholar Ibn Taymiyya rules out militant violence and the medieval Muslim division of the world into a "house of Islam" and "house of unbelief" no longer applies.
Osama bin Laden has quoted Ibn Taymiyya's "Mardin fatwa" repeatedly in his calls for Muslims to wage jihad against the United States.

"It is not for a Muslim individual or a Muslim group to announce and declare war or engage in combative jihad ... on their own," said the declaration issued on Sunday in Arabic and later provided to Reuters in English.” http://www.alarabiya.net/articles/2010/03/31/104563.html

I guess the supposition is that all non-Muslim Dhimmis are dhimmi-wits and not very bright. No one who has bothered to take even a cursory glance at Islamic history is fooled by this 'reinterpretation'. When the Koran is scrubbed, purged, edited, rewritten and recasted than perhaps you can make the claim that the Muslims are finally joining reality and updating their theology of fascism. But blaming an obscure cleric born 700 years after mad Mohammed for Islamic violence ? Do Muslims really think that the infidel is that stupid ?

Across the Dhimmi lands, the above Islamic promulgation will of course bring sobs of relief. No doubt in EU-rabia there will be public outbursts of joy where the infidel will be told by the EU, Sarkozy, and Merkel to run out and embrace and kiss the nearest Muslim and then prostrate themselves and lick the dust off of their sandals, to demonstrate camaraderie and fevered admiration for the incredibly brave 'declaration' emanating from not-so tolerant Turkey. One expects that from Dhimmis. But for the rest of the infidel population, maybe some skepticism is in order.

The call to Jihad, war, violence and terror comes strictly from the Koran, the Hadiths or sayings of Mohammed and the Sunnah or biography of the mad founder of Islam. Muslim holy-war and acts of terror come from these foundational sources, not from a rather peripheral Islamic scholar of the 14^th century.

Tamiyya is only one of many important Muslim scholars and one of many who read the Koran, the Hadiths and came up with 'laws' for Islam. In fact Sharia law was firmly in place by the 12^th century; Muslim clerical law was firmly established by the 11^th; and the Koran and Hadiths were canonical texts by the 10^th century. Tamiyya is no more responsible for the interpretation of Muslim scripture, than Christ was for the first 5 books of the Jewish Torah written 1250 years earlier by scribes of Moses.

It is of course the Koran and the life of Mohammed which gives Muslims the impetus to terror and war. It is the call to Jihad, the 6^th pillar of Islam which 'approves' of violence against the unbelievers. It is the actions of Mohammed himself, who created Islam from brigandage, pillage, war, and intimidation which gives Muslims the example of terror, perpetrated by their 'prophet' and approved by their moon-cult deity 'Allah'.

Blaming Islamic imperialist terror on Taymiyya is akin to blaming George Bush for Crusades. Apparently George was born a little after the Crusades got under way. Also apparently, Taymiyya was born 700 years after Islam was concocted as a political ideology by Mohammed, and began its reign of terror.

Muslims must really think that the unbeliever is dumb to suggest that denying Tamiyya's literal interpretation of the Koran means anything. It is a fake, a feint, a mis-direction.

Taqqiya or Arab deceit is an important part of Islamic theology. Taqiyya mandates trickery and lying to forward the goals of Islam. This includes breaking contracts, ignoring obligations and telling stories when you see fit. As long as the position of 'Allah' is improved and Muslims benefit it is okay. The proclamation by some Islamic scholars that they are 'reforming' Islam by revoking a 14^th century clerics idea of holy war and terror is Taqqiya. It is clear that Muslims hope to profit from this trickery. As I wrote when reviewing Raymond Ibrahim's article on Taqiya (or Taqqiya):

• The Koran adjures the use of deceit towards non-Muslims [3:28, 3:54, 8:30, 10:21, for example).

• Mohammed's ruthless, murderous career was full of Taqiya, the breaking of contracts, agreements, peace treaties and accords. As Mohammed said in one battle, 'For war is deceit.' He famously broke many treaties in his bloodthirsty expansion of his family's cult and his moon cult ideology.

• The Koran and Islamic scholarly writing make it clear that Taqiya is a part of war; and since Islam must either subjugate or exterminate non-believers through jihad, Taqiya as deception is mandatory. [http://craigread.com/displayArticle.aspx?contentID=1253&subgroupID=9] 

Seen in the light of the above we can state that this declaration is first of all, very dishonest. It tries to locate Islamic terror outside the trilogy of Islamic un-holy books, and divorce it from Mohammed. Clever, but also ignorant and mendacious. Second, it attempts to rationalize the deaths of 280 million humans over 1400 years, by blaming one cleric, and one call to Jihad and violence – even though this cleric is simply using the Koran to establish Islamic law ! It would be akin to someone using the Bible word for word, to come up with a 'law' to kill non-Christians, and then the Christian church stating that the legal scholar, not the Bible is to blame ! This is insane. Third, it gives the Muslims public relations talking points, where they can go to the Western media, who know little about Islam, or Arab-Muslim imperialism and portray their ideology as moderate. And of course the elitist and media Dhimmis will fall for it.

There is nothing about Islam which is moderate of course. It is one long screed, akin to Mein Kampf, against non-Muslims. There is no Golden Rule, no call to reason, no tolerance, no charity to non-Muslims and no frameworks in which one can see the cultural attitudes which created a modern world system. Nothing but violence and hate. The unbelievers are targeted in the Koran, in the life of Mohammed and in his sayings, for destruction. The last 3 wishes of Mohammed were clear; kill or expel all the Jews and Christians in Arabia; destroy Persia, Byzantium and Rome; and make Islam the only ideology of the Arab tribes.  Pretty clear. The Koran is thus the opposite of what the Bible preaches. It is naturally Jihadic:

“In the only scientific analysis of the Koran that I am aware of, scientist and theologian Bill Warner attempted to determine how much of the Koran was good to humanity as a whole. Most of the Koran is good to Muslims – especially male and Arab Muslims of course. But what about non-Muslims, what about people, what about the average person who is just a human living on earth ? As Warner relates:

“There are 4,108 words in the verses that seem to offer goodness to all of humanity (there are 153,207 words in the Koran, this varies upon which translation). Of course, this goodness is denied later in the chapter, but even at that, we have only 2.6% of the Koran that speaks well of humanity initially......

... What the Koran is saying is two things. First, if you the Muslim are in an inferior position of power [for instance a minority in a Jew-Christian area], you can be nice to Jews and Christians since Allah will torture them in hell anyways, even though the infidels don't know it. But even these verses are quite few and far between. Second, and more often, you will read a verse in which the Muslim is instructed to be nice to the Kaffir, only in the context of lying or deceiving the infidel to further the aims of Islam. The world of the 5 senses is black and white, not grey. Arab and Muslim trickery and deceit are common. In reading the history of the Crusades one will be struck by how many times the Muslims in battle offered the out-manned Christians a truce, promising to allow the Knights to leave in good order with their arms and anything they can carry if they would just stop fighting. As soon as the Crusaders agreed to this, and were disarmed, they were of course slaughtered on the spot. Taqqiya. Any lie will do to forward the imperialist venture of the moon cult.  Contracts, your word, morality ?  All jettisoned if the position of Muslims is improved. 

Reinterpreting Islam ? How about this – rewrite the Koran so it looks and reads like the Bible. Then we can talk about an Islamic rebirth.
