Jahiliya or Ignorance.

Ignorance. Another Islamic label for the UnBelievers. All people pre-Islam were 'Ignorant'. In Arabic the word Jahiliya denotes one who is ignorant of Islam or one who continues to reject Islam and its rituals and practices. In the West this word 'ignorant' could mean many things – ignorance in knowledge, ignorance in manners, ignorance in communication, or ignorance in social interaction. In the Koran Jahiliya or ignorance is a label which is very simply and clearly applied to UnBelievers, or non-Muslims, who do not follow the Allah-thing and his or its divinely inspired messenger the great man Muhammad. It specifically is applied to pagan Arabs, but also Jews and Christians within Arabia. It has nothing to do with matters of knowledge, skill, customs or social interaction. It is simply another label for the Kufar or Unbeliever. Believe in the Allah moon deity and you are intelligent, insightful and blessed. Disbelieve and you are uncouth, ignorant, evil, a hypocrite, dumb, cursed and doomed to eternal hell-fire. How tolerant, how civilised, how religious.

There are 106 verses in the Koran which explains who are ignorant and why. An example is;

6:35 If their aversion (from you, O Muhammad SAW and from that with which you have been sent) is hard on you, (and you cannot be patient from their harm to you), then if you were able to seek a tunnel in the ground or a ladder to the sky, so that you may bring them a sign (and you cannot do it, so be patient). And had Allah willed, He could have gathered them together (all) unto true guidance, so be not you one of those who are Al-Jahilun (the ignorant).

The Koran often states that the Allah thing or male moon deity of Northern Arabian pagan belief, is the only creation in the universe with 'Will'. In fact Allah created the Universe from his will. Humans, the useless sperm molecules that they are [the Koran says this over 12 times], are shaped and controlled by the Allah. Thus non-Muslims have been 'willed' by Allah to reject Islam. This is clearly expressed in dozens of Suras including 6-35 above. Following from this, Muhammad cannot convince the Unbelievers to Believe, if Allah is willing them not to. So Muhammad must 'be patient', show them signs, and see if the Allah will lead them back to the cult. Since all people are born Muslim, it is up to Allah to guide the Al-Jahilun or Ignorant, back to the moon cult. Moslems must be careful not to act or think like the Ignorant ones and simply ignore them. Allah will do with them what he pleases, including killing them, or damning them to eternal hellfire if they continue to worship false idols [the Jews], or the Christian Trinity, impelled in their sins by little devils:

6:100: Yet, they join the jinns as partners in worship with Allah, though He has created them (the jinns), and they attribute falsely without knowledge sons and daughters to Him. Be He Glorified and Exalted above (all) that they attribute to Him.

The Arab pagans are even worse than the Jews and Christians – they should know better since the Allah thing would resonate with their current belief system. They should simply accept that Muhammad's family's deity or Allah, is their Allah as well:

9:97: The bedouins are the worst in disbelief and hypocrisy, and more likely to be in ignorance of the limits (Allah's Commandments and His Legal Laws, etc.) which Allah has revealed to His Messenger. And Allah is All-Knower, All-Wise.

If you reject the moon cult and continue in your ignorance, a severe punishment awaits:

16:25 They will bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection, and also of the burdens of those whom they misled without knowledge. Evil indeed is that which they shall bear!

'They' are the ignorant Unbelievers.

Islam is the great Manichean cult of human history. Follow the Allah thing and prosper. Reject it and face the wrath of Muhammad's legions and the moon deity's hellish Day of Judgement. Ignorance in rejecting the cult of Muhammad will warrant only death and violence:

19:74: "And how many of the generations We did destroy before them, they were (even) better in riches and in splendor. Say you (O Our Apostle Muhammad) As to those who are in error, the Beneficent (Allah) will certainly lengthen the span (of their) life; until they behold what they were promised, be it the chastisement (in this world) or the Hour (of Doom); Then shall they know who is worse placed and (who is the) weakest in forces!"

Pre-Islam Arabia was for Moslems an era of 'ignorance'. The Muhammad, chosen messenger of the thing Allah, issued forth to spread light and education about the true sharia path of life and living. Arabs had a 'duty' to receive this message and convert. Anyone rejecting the 'signs' of the Allah thing was destined for destruction. That is the meaning of 'ignorance'. For Moslems it is okay to kill the ignorant since Allah has willed them to be blind and not to follow Islam. Killing Unbelievers is thus okay and routinely sanctioned within the Koran. The Golden Rule does not exist within Islam. It can't. The world split into 'us' versus 'them' is the antithesis of an immanent application of the Golden Rule.
