Cults tear down 'Infidel' shrines. Religions don't.

The moon cult is rather clear – don't prostrate yourself to idols other than the Allah thing.

002:257 Allah is the Wali (Protector or Guardian) of those who believe. He brings them out from darkness into light. But as for those who disbelieve, their Auliya (supporters and helpers) are Taghut [false deities and false leaders, etc.], they bring them out from light into darkness. Those are the dwellers of the Fire, and they will abide therein forever.

One of Muhammad's first act when he conquered Mecca in 630 AD at the head of a 10.000 man army [didn't Christ do the same ?], was to wipe out all of the 360 odd idols of the Kabaa shrine, except that of the moon deity El-Lah. Since that point in history Islam has never tolerated the worship of any idol, other than the Al-Lah thing.

One of the mantras of the cultural Marxist-Statist cadre, is that all Moslems or most anyways, are sophisticated lovers of peace and more tolerant than your average Jew or Christian. They would never harm a Jewish or Christian idol for instance. No facts support this assertion that almost all Moslems are nuanced connoisseurs of civilisation, but marketing a dogma relies less on facts than it does on emotional simplicity and inanity. A case in point is the reality that throughout Islamic history the idols and monuments of Infidels have been defiled, erased, blown up, or desecrated in some manner. Yet few 'experts' or those in the media spend much time enquiring as to why Islam in-toto, is so concerned with such monuments and their destruction. The answer is all to obvious. It stems from the Koran and its 'law' that no other idols can be worshipped other than the Meccan moon deity the El-Lah thing who just happened to be Muhammad's tribal and familial deity and best friend.

002:022 Who has made the earth a resting place for you, and the sky as a canopy, and sent down water (rain) from the sky and brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for you. Then do not set up rivals unto Allah (in worship) while you know (that He Alone has the right to be worshipped).

And

002:165 And of mankind are some who take (for worship) others besides Allah as rivals (to Allah). They love them as they love Allah. But those who believe, love Allah more (than anything else). If only, those who do wrong could see, when they will see the torment, that all power belongs to Allah and that Allah is Severe in punishment.

Idols are not permitted in Islam, just blind obedience to Allah and his Messenger Muhammad and the 'uncreated' work Recital. Iconography is of course a sin in Islam. That is why depicting Muhammad in a cartoon is considered blasphemous and gives rise to violence and death. Ironically the admonition against iconography ruptured and weakened Christendom. The Moslem hatred of icons swept from Islam into Eastern Christendom and the Byzantine empire, rupturing the 200 year old union of the Roman and Constantinople churches in the mid 8^th century AD. The Eastern Orthodox war against icons was enacted to purify the Greek-Roman empire of 'sin'. Westerns balked. Islam was expanding remorselessly and Moslems did not allow icons, ergo the Byzantines believed that part of the Moslem success in war and imperialism came from their disavowal of religious images. The Eastern Greeks imitated the Moslems by making icnongraphy a sin, thereby sealing their own eventual fate and demise by cutting off the union with the West which was their best chance at surviving the Moslem Jihad. History does work in some weird ways.

In 2001 of course the Moslems destroyed the 'icons' of American dominance, the Twin Towers in New York. Earlier that year Moslems in Afghanistan annihilated Buddhist shrines, “In one of humanity's most notorious cases of art vandalism, the 125-foot-tall Eastern Buddha ("Shamama," or Queen Mother, carved between 544 and 595) and the 181-foot Western Buddha ("Salsal," or light shines through the universe, carved between 591 and 644), were decimated along with sections of the niches that enclosed them. Numerous other religious relics were destroyed throughout Afghanistan at the same time.”

The reason for destroying Infidel idols in New York and Afghanistan is clear:

003:151 We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allah, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers).

Casting terror is done by ripping apart the socio-cultural artefacts of Infidel society. No mercy must be shown to idol worshipping hypocrites who are allied with Satan:

004:117 They (all those who worship others than Allah) invoke nothing but female deities besides Him (Allah), and they invoke nothing but Shaitan (Satan), a persistent rebel!

004:060 Have you seen those (hyprocrites) who claim that they believe in that which has been sent down to you, and that which was sent down before you, and they wish to go for judgement (in their disputes) to the Taghut (false judges, etc.) while they have been ordered to reject them. But Shaitan (Satan) wishes to lead them far astray.

Suras 2, 3 and 4 were amongst the last 'revealed' to the 'great man' Muhammad. Worshipping any idol other than the Allah thing is clearly 'illegal' within Islam. If Allah is to rule the earth, than all Infidel monuments including his expressions of culture, economics, and politics must be eradicated. One should be reminded of Caliph Bayazid's statement in 1396 at the battle of Nicopolis which pitted a Hungarian led Crusade against the Ottomans. The Frankish Crusaders shouted before the battle that they would split open the Turkish Moslems with their lances. Bayazid replied: "Quiet, boasters, I shall soon be feeding my horses oats on the high altar of St Peter's!"

Bayazid destroyed the Christian host that day and his utterance was simply following the last wishes of Muhammad that Islam should take both Eastern Rum and Rome. Bayazid believed that he or another Moslem Caliph had a destiny to take Rome, and if he or another Moslem leader did, they would sack it, degrade it, and use the Christian symbols of power to feed his steeds. This comment was more than just a oracular allusion or war inspired propaganda. It was a stated objective uttered some 764 years previously by the cult's founder. Bayazid knew that Islam and the Allah thing could not abide the symbols of Infidel power and insolence. They must be destroyed. His statement is simply an honest intention. Islam is not a religion but it is quite open and frank about its objectives.
