And Christians are damned to eternal hell-fire.

by Ferdinand III

Running totals from Sura 2 to 18:

Total number of verses from Sura 2 to 18: 2243

Total number of verses which preach violence against non-Moslems: 486

Violent verses as a % of total from Sura 2 to 18: 21.6%

Sura 2 to 18 as a % of the Koran in pages: 45%

Sura 2 to 18 as a % of the 6346 verses in the Koran: 35%

[meaning still lots more violence to go....]

The Sun sets in a marsh. This is what the infallible 'scientific Koran' states:

Until, when he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of black muddy (or hot) water. And he found near it a people. We (Allah) said (by inspiration): "O Dhul-Qarnain! Either you punish them, or treat them with kindness."

Little wonder that Islam has not produced anything over 1400 years. Moslems who believe that the Koran contains all knowledge apparently support the idea of a muddy marsh being the home of the Sun. An educated five year old knows better.

This Sura, the 'Cave' reviewed here, is not only a 'scientific treatise' but in the main an oblique story centred in part on Muhammad's experience at the age of 40, in which he retired to a cave near Mecca and became delirious. At this point the Hub'Allah moon deity contacted him via the arch-angel Gabriel and Islam or Submission was 'created', or rather the 'uncreated' word of the Allah-thing, bastardized and corrupted apparently by Jews and Christians was 'repackaged' and given in 'purity' to the great-man, the illiterate, plotting politician, Muhammad. Rather convenient.

The Koran as usual, is rather hazy and confused on the details. The chapter relates that Muhammad during his cave occupation was not alone. Who went with Muhammad to this cave ? How long did they stay there ? What did they do there? What occurred there? The Koran does not know, except that these men were there over 300 years. A rather long time. This would mean that the early followers of Muhammad were sitting in the cave circa 301 AD.

"Verse 25 states rather implausibly that the companions of Mohammed were there perhaps for 300 years – a rather long time by most human standards, “So they stayed in their Cave three hundred years, and (some) add nine (more).” Okay right. It matters not anyways since of course only the thing called Allah would know the actual time spent, “Say: 'Allah knows best how long they stayed..”

The Koranic writers are not even sure of who went with their noble messenger and how many there were. This seems odd given that the cave pilgrimage is usually viewed as a turning point in the 'spiritual' life, such as it might have existed, for Mohammed. “Some say they were three, the dog being the fourth among them: (others) say there were five, the dog being the sixth....” Indeed they are very few details in this Sura about the cave experience. There is nothing about what was discussed, what transpired, or even which revelations were passed down to the great Arab prophet, the man chosen by this thing Allah, to lead mankind out of its collective ignorance and misery.”

Strange indeed. A 309 year cave sitting with a dog.

Most historians do admit that Muhammad may have suffered from epilepsy and from psychological traumas. After his first cave experience and chat with Gabriel the founder of Submission did admit to his wife and protector, the rich and well-connected widow Khadija, that he was likely insane. When Khadija died sometime shortly after the cave experience, Muhammad had to flee, his ministry a failure, his few acolytes being friends and family, and the Meccan authorities on the point of violence against the Allah cult and its so-called prophet for their extremely inane preaching and threats of violence which simmered even then just below the surface of Muhammad's 'prophetic ministry'.

From the Infidels' perspective the most important part of this Sura are the more than 20 verses which target Christianity and Christians. Islamic theology is quite clear. Associating anything with the moon deity Allah is a sin. Questioning Allah or Muhammad as a prophet is a sin. Not following the Koran is a sin. Rejecting Muhammad's commands or even privately harbouring doubts about the convenient 'revelations' given to him by the moon deity, whenever he needs one, is a sin. Sinners are to be punished in this life and the next. It is simple. A good cult member must follow, ritualize and agree.

Idol worship is a sin:

Do then those who disbelieve think that they can take My slaves [i.e., the angels, Allah's Messengers, 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), etc.] as Auliya' (lords, gods, protectors, etc.) besides Me? Verily, We have prepared Hell as an entertainment for the disbelievers (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism).

Follow Muhammad or else:

The pagan Arabs are also clearly warned with destruction:

And these towns (population, 'Ad, Thamud, etc.) We destroyed when they did wrong. And We appointed a fixed time for their destruction.

The Allah will destroy whom he wants, when he wants. It matters not about good works, faith, the Golden Rule, free-will or rationality. What matters is if the 'populations' in question follow Muhammad and Allah. If they don't they are doomed.

One does not see any kindness in this Sura. There is no higher ethical or metaphysical ideal or program. A 'good person' in the Koran is one who follows and never questions the cult or its great-man leader, the incomparable Muhammad. Christianity adjures independence of thought and free-will. The Jews teach that metaphysical understanding only comes from knowledge and rational understanding. Islam demands complete submission to the never-explained Allah-thing and its messenger the Muhammad. It is obvious that Islam has nothing in common with Judeo-Christian constructs.
