Holy Koran and Slavery ! Slaves – obey the Al-Lah idol or else ! Sura 64

Lend money to Allah / Muhammad and earn 100% interest !

by Ferdinand III

Only 33% of chapter 64 'Mutual Gain or Loss', is hate-speech. By Moslem-Recital standards an appropriately moderate amount. One main theme of Islam, the cult of Muhammad, is encapsulated in 64:9. Non-Moslems will be tortured and destroyed. Pious supporters of Muhammad and his alter-ego the Allah-thing will benefit:

(And remember) the Day when He will gather you (all) on the Day of Gathering, that will be the Day of mutual loss and gain (i.e. loss for the disbelievers as they will enter the Hell-fire and gain for the believers as they will enter Paradise). And whosoever believes in Allah and performs righteous good deeds, He will remit from him his sins, and will admit him to Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise) to dwell therein forever, that will be the great success.

If you believe in Allah and perform the 'righteous' deeds as outlined by the Koran, namely, supporting the cult of Muhammad with money and might; following the rituals as prescribed in the Koran, eschewing contact with Unbelievers; and surrendering your free-will and rationality to the cult since only Allah has free-will and only Allah can determine your path in life; you might gain entry to 'Gardens under which river flows'. To thirsty Bedouin this sounds like a good deal. Besides that you can kill, rape, take slaves and fatten yourself on Infidel riches, land and women.

The second main theme of Islam – besides the violence against Infidel pigs and apes – is of course slavery. Enslave yourself to Muhammad [aka Allah], and become a pious knave of Muhammad's cult. Conveniently the creation of Muhammad, the Al-Lah or Lord of Mecca [Hub'Al]; clearly demands that you submit yourself to Muhammad and only Muhammad:

Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger (Muhammad SAW), but if you turn away, then the duty of Our Messenger is only to convey (the Message) clearly.

Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), and in Allah (Alone), therefore, let the believers put their trust.

Worship none other than the Muhammad-Allah complex of idol worship. As part of your duty to the Allah thing you must monitor your family and children. Make sure that your kin are good members of the cult and fall in line with cult doctrine. A self-reinforcing system of policing:

O you who believe! Verily, among your wives and your children there are enemies for you (i.e. may stop you from the obedience of Allah), therefore beware of them! But if you pardon (them) and overlook, and forgive (their faults), then verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Notice the plural use of 'wives'. Moslem men have every right to polygamy. How is that supportive of female rights ? Female sex slavery is hardly liberating.

Interestingly this Sura promotes the use of loans and paid interest. It is simply untrue that 'interest' is banned in the Koran. 64:17 makes it clear that if you give Allah, aka Muhammad or the cult a 'loan', it shall be repaid with interest, probably from the plunder of non-Moslems. This would be the only way to repay a loan in primitive 7th century Arabia. The terms of trade, investment and production were quite limited indeed.

If you lend to Allah a goodly loan (i.e. spend in Allah's Cause) He will double it for you, and will forgive you. And Allah is Most Ready to appreciate and to reward, Most Forbearing,

Allah promises to double your investment. Sounds too good to be true. How to double an investment in impoverished 7th century Arabia unless you plan to plunder trade caravans or wage war against wealthier neighbours? 64:17 is clearly a demand to finance war and depredation. This is juxtaposed against many other pre-capitalist societies who had injunctions against excessive interest.

In most agricultural and non-urban societies, high rates of interest were banned to protect agricultural workers who had to work the land and by necessity borrowed money to put in their crops, hoping to pay it back when the harvest was sold [this is as true in Sumeria circa 3000 BC as in Hebrew Judea in the time of Christ, or parts of Medieval Europe during the reign of Charlemagne]. If the crops failed or there was a drought many would be ruined. The necessity to cap interest payments is a central feature of many societies who did not have access to extended trade routes, or whose cultures and political-economies were restricted in both capital and non-agricultural investment and production. It made good sense.

What one can glean from Sura 64 is the usual admonition to kill and fight the Unbelievers. But further, Moslems who are good slaves of Allah [Muhammad] should not be shy about financing the expansion of the cult and its Jihad. This is certainly a central tenet of Moslem history. Give everything you have, including your family and money to Muhammad. If you do, your reward or loan might be 'doubled' as a repayment, and you might enter Gardens with flowing rivers. A metaphor certain to attract greedy and thirsty Bedouin mercenaries.
