Christianophobia – Islam's hatred of Christians, Sura 7 - 'apes and pigs'

So when they forgot the remindings that had been given to them, We rescued those who forbade evil, but We seized those who did wrong with a severe torment because they used to rebel (disobey Allah). |

So when they exceeded the limits of what they were prohibited, We said to them: "Be you monkeys, despised and rejected." (It is a severe warning to the mankind that they should not disobey what Allah commands them to do, and be far away from what He prohibits them). |
Christians and Jews are apes, pigs or monkeys [Yusuf Ali translates 7:166 as 'be ye apes and pigs despised'.]
According to Western cultural Marxists, the media and fat smiling toothy politicians, Islam is the greatest program of love in history. Forget the 1400 year Jihad, racism, supremacism and the daily attacks against Christians. That is what bigoted Islamophobes focus on. Instead rewrite history and reality to portray Moslems as hugging-and-loving automata, running from one group hug with the 'people of the book', to another. Tears of compassion streaming down every Moslem face. In fact Moslems are so busy loving the world, they have no time for anything else like say, rational thought, inquiry, science, technological innovation, education, treating women equally, developing a modern political-economy......but plenty of time for Jihad, lies, demonstrations, blowing up public assets and people....
In Sura 7 or 'The Heights' [of insanity ?], there are 206 verses. 16% are Christianophobic. Where is the outrage in the media ? The offensive hate-speech verses are: 36-41, 44-48, 50-53, 55, 100, 158, 165, 166, 169, 177-79, 182, 185-86, 191-193, 196, 202-3.
Sura 7 is a long overview of all the tribes, states, empires and peoples destroyed by the moon deity Hub'Al or Al-Lah [Allah means the Lord or the One, it does not mean God]. It includes the destruction of the Garden and Eve, through to Moses and all states and imperiums within the Near East. Quite a list of destructive anger displayed by the Al-Lah thing. Jewish and Christian 'crimes' are thus linked with the original sin and the transgressions of all nation states and empires against the Mosaic code.
Within this framework Jews and Christians are overtly threatened. Anyone who does not follow the 'Signs' of Islam will be destroyed. The main signs are Islam are: the 'prophethood' of mad Muhammad; the Koran; and all natural phenomena and cycles. Thus the 'Sun' rising in the East is proof of Hub'Al's divine omnipotence. If you delink the cycles of the Sun from Hub'Al you have blasphemed and must be punished. It does not get much more totalitarian than that. Everything is based on the will of Al-Lah, you have no free-will [v. 7:186]:

Do they [Unbelievers] not look in the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all things that Allah has created, and that it may be that the end of their lives is near. In what message after this will they then believe? |

Whomsoever Allah sends astray, none can guide him; and He lets them wander blindly in their transgressions. |
The chapter is named 'The Heights', where pious Moslems are in the heights of the garden of paradise and can look down on Jews and Christians in hell. The Christianophobia in this chapter is encapsulated in the following verses:

And the dwellers of Paradise will call out to the dwellers of the Fire (saying): "We have indeed found true what our Lord had promised us; have you also found true, what your Lord promised (warnings, etc.)?" They shall say: "Yes." Then a crier will proclaim between them: "The Curse of Allah is on the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.)," |

Those who hindered (men) from the Path of Allah, and would seek to make it crooked, and they were disbelievers in the Hereafter. |

And between them will be a barrier screen and on Al-A'raf (a wall with elevated places) will be men (whose good and evil deeds would be equal in scale), who would recognise all (of the Paradise and Hell people), by their marks (the dwellers of Paradise by their white faces and the dwellers of Hell by their black faces), they will call out to the dwellers of Paradise, "Salamun 'Alaikum" (peace be on you), and at that time they (men on Al-A'raf) will not yet have entered it (Paradise), but they will hope to enter (it) with certainty. |

And when their eyes will be turned towards the dwellers of the Fire, they will say: "Our Lord! Place us not with the people who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers)." |

And the men on Al-A'raf (the wall) will call unto the men whom they would recognise by their marks, saying: "Of what benefit to you were your great numbers (and hoards of wealth), and your arrogance against Faith?" |
Only the media and politicians can miss the supremacist rant against Christians in the above verses. Keep in mind that 7:166 identifies Christians as pigs and apes. In the above 5 phrases the main themes are clear; 1) Anyone who does not follow the Al-Lah thing goes to hell: 2) Black faces [racism ?] color the faces of those in Hell clearly marking them out from Moslems [the supremacist theme]: 3) Christians are polytheists [7:47] and 4) Christians are arrogant [7:48].
There is not much in the way of multi-cultural love in the above.
Christians are commanded to give up the Trinity and not to associate anything with the Al-Lah idol except of course the 'prophecy' of Muhammad and his Mein Koran.

Then after them succeeded an (evil) generation, which inherited the Book, but they chose (for themselves) the goods of this low life (evil pleasures of this world) saying (as an excuse): "(Everything) will be forgiven to us." And if (again) the offer of the like (evil pleasures of this world) came their way, they would (again) seize them (would commit those sins). Was not the covenant of the Book taken from them that they would not say about Allah anything but the truth? And they have studied what is in it (the Book). And the home of the Hereafter is better for those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V.2:2). Do not you then understand? |

Far from being accepting of Christianity and its 'book', the Koran demands that Christians renounce all of their beliefs including the Holy Trinity and embrace only Muhammadanism and the veneration of his idol the Al-Lah thing. This demand is coloured by references to Christians as apes or pigs, evil, stupid, ignorant, doomed, and confused. Such appellations for the 'other' or untermenschen, are common in a cult of supremacism and violence. You won't find them in a real religion.
