Sura 2: The Koran and Women – misogyny and control

One of the great apocrypha's spread by Moslems and their Western-feminist supporters, is that Islam 'supports' indeed 'liberates' women. This is an ignorant even evil claim. The cult of submission demands that women be the servants – sexual, physical, household – of men. Period. In the Moslem hierarchy men rule. They can possess many wives, concubines, sex-slaves, and they must 'manage' their women in accordance with Koranic diktat. Each year 10-20.000 daughters are murdered by Moslem families for disobeying the totalitarian Koranic creed; many thousands of wives are beaten; and of course Moslem women in Sharia-compliant communities must wear the infamous bed-sheets to hide their sexuality and to advertise to the greater world that they are chattel, owned and taken by a master. This is slavery not liberation.

Read the gibberish in the Koran. In Sura 2 we have the following verses about the female.

Polygamy and sexual access by man to any of his 'wives', at any time for any reason, is female liberation ?

2:223 Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth (have sexual relations with your wives in any manner as long as it is in the vagina and not in the anus), when or how you will, and send (good deeds, or ask Allah to bestow upon you pious offspring) before you for your ownselves. And fear Allah, and know that you are to meet Him (in the Hereafter), and give good tidings to the believers (O Muhammad SAW).

Supremacist demands not to marry non-Moslems, or have your daughter marry non-Moslems is a sign of female equality and freedom to choose ?

2:221 And do not marry Al-Mushrikat (idolatresses, etc.) till they believe (worship Allah Alone). And indeed a slave woman who believes is better than a (free) Mushrikah (idolatress, etc.), even though she pleases you. And give not (your daughters) in marriage to Al-Mushrikun till they believe (in Allah Alone) and verily, a believing slave is better than a (free) Mushrik (idolater, etc.), even though he pleases you. Those (Al-Mushrikun) invite you to the Fire, but Allah invites (you) to Paradise and Forgiveness by His Leave, and makes His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to mankind that they may remember.

Women are obliged to follow the demands of the man 'obedience and respect etc.'. By so doing they are compensated with support even if they become divorced. Not obeying the man in all matters will forfeit such support. So being a knave is liberating ?

2:228 And divorced women shall wait (as regards their marriage) for three menstrual periods, and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allah has created in their wombs, if they believe in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands have the better right to take them back in that period, if they wish for reconciliation. And they (women) have rights (over their husbands as regards living expenses, etc.) similar (to those of their husbands) over them (as regards obedience and respect, etc.) to what is reasonable, but men have a degree (of responsibility) over them. And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

2:241 And for divorced women, maintenance (should be provided) on reasonable (scale). This is a duty on Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V.2:2).

Far from being equal, it is clear from the above that women are assets owned by men. The only positive aspect of this doctrine is that divorced Moslem women, as long as they fulfil 2:228 and obey their husbands; are entitled to financial support. In the main however, according to the above Moslem women are superior to non-Moslem women; Moslems should never marry non-Moslems; and Moslem women are lower in status than Moslem men. Here we have clear verses detailing inequality, supremacism and patriarchal power. This is liberation ?
