Sura 3: The Koran and Women – misogyny and control

One of the great apocrypha's spread by Moslems and their Western-feminist supporters, is that Islam 'supports' indeed 'liberates' women. This is an ignorant even evil claim. The cult of submission demands that women be the servants – sexual, physical, household – of men. Period.

In Sura 3 there is little mention of women. In a supremacist-misogynist book this lack of concern for the female is not only noticeable but to be expected. This long chapter is devoted to the men of Islam, the 'chosen' group who should rule the world, including women.

Women like gold and silver, are assets and the pleasure of men:

3:14 Beautified for men is the love of things they covet; women, children, much of gold and silver (wealth), branded beautiful horses, cattle and well-tilled land. This is the pleasure of the present world's life; but Allah has the excellent return (Paradise with flowing rivers, etc.) with Him.

Moslem men have a right to polygamy and many sex partners:

3:15 Say: "Shall I inform you of things far better than those? For Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V.2:2) there are Gardens (Paradise) with their Lord, underneath which rivers flow. Therein (is their) eternal (home) and Azwajun Mutahharatun (purified mates or wives) [i.e. they will have no menses, urine, or stool, etc.], And Allah will be pleased with them. And Allah is All-Seer of the (His) slaves".

Women from the Unbelievers are inferior in every way imaginable – as are the men:

3:110 You [true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fasiqun (disobedient to Allah - and rebellious against Allah's Command).

The Koran stipulates very clearly that Moslems must only marry other Moslems. Moslem men can of course have sex slaves from the Infidels but they should not marry them. Any objective reader would discern from the above the following: 1) Moslem women are inferior assets owned by Moslem men; 2) Moslem men can have many 'mates or wives'; 3) Non Moslem females are decidedly inferior to Moslem females.

This supremacist theology neither enlightens nor liberates the female. It degrades her.
