Until the advent of materialism and 19th c. dogma, Western Civilisation was superior to anything Islam had developed. Islam has not aided in the development of the modern world; in fact civilisation has only been created in spite of Islam. Proof of this resides in the 'modern' world and the unending political-economic and spiritual poverty of Muslim states and regions. Squatting on richer civilisations is not 'progress'. Islam is pagan, totalitarian, and irrational.
The Koran is suffused with hate speech. The first 3 Suras are indicative of the Muhammadan hate of the Infidel, or non-Muslim. Contrary to fake news, fake apologia and Western multi-cultural lies, not a single verse accepting Christians, Jews or non-Muslims exists in the Koran. The ‘chosen people’ who are accepted and protected by the Al Lah deity (Baal or the moon deity of Mecca and Muhammad’s family were his shrine's caretakers), are of course Muslims and Muslims only. Any purported verse of sanctity, morality, compassion or tolerance is reserved only for those who follow and obey Muhammad and his ‘revelatory’ commands from this Al Lah idol.
Personal favourite verse: 2:226 Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.

Sura 4 is divided into 2 parts. About half the Sura discusses how to treat, marry, have sex with; own, and manage your 'women'. The other half is about Jihad, war, and converting or exterminating Infidel Unbelievers.
The first theme of Sura 4 is female management. Much of it reads like a litany of ancient discourse and laws on how to treat the female race including when you can beat them [4-34], slave-trade them, when you can have sex with them (when you want as long as she is ‘clean’), why you can marry slaves, and what levels of obedience and support you should expect from the women in your life including your mother, mother-in-law, daughters, wives, and sex-slaves. Whilst proscribing marrying one's mother; sex and marriage to a cousin is deemed acceptable. This is why in the Muslim inbreeding and low IQ is a real issue. In sum the ideas around 'women' have no relevancy for an Iron age world, let alone a modern social culture.
The second theme of this Sura is of course the necessity of war and Jihad. Demonisation of the Infidel is used to create a culture of animus, fear and hatred toward non-Muslims. Out of 176 verses in this chapter, 47 are clearly advocating violence, Jihad and intolerance against and towards non-Moslems, or almost 30%. Islam's two great obsessions – women and the Infidel – are joined in this Sura.

Islam uses 'keywords' to describe those who should go to the Hellfire or be tormented in this lifetime; or who should be executed, crucified, and humiliated. The key words used include: those who commit injustice or are unfair, steal, lie, deceive; those who create social discord [this includes anyone not following the Koran]; any who practice polytheism [eg. Christianity which worships a Trinity of God, Arab pagans, Hindus], any who worship false idols [the Jews, Arab pagans, Zoroastrains, Buddhists]; any who are criminals [all non-Moslems are considered criminal and blasphemers]; or anyone who does not support the Umma or community with tax payments, hospitality, and reverence. It is a comprehensive list of hate.
The ugly fact about the Koran and Islam is of course that anyone who does not follow Muhammad, or the Allah [both of whom can be considered in their Koranic context to be the same]; are situated within the aforementioned categories. The cult rules. If you are outside of the cult, you are a criminal polytheist and instigator of social dislocation. These facts have to be kept foremost in mind when reading the Koran. As 4:30 and 4:92 both state, you must never kill a Moslem [but killing an infidel is fine]:
30: O you who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves unjustly except it be a trade amongst you, by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to you.
And
92: It is not for a believer to kill a believer except (that it be) by mistake, and whosoever kills a believer by mistake, (it is ordained that) he must set free a believing slave and a compensation (blood money, i.e Diya)
Compare this sentiment with verse 4:56:
Surely! Those who disbelieved in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) We shall burn them in Fire. As often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for other skins that they may taste the punishment. Truly, Allah is Ever Most Powerful, AllWise.
Sura 4 contravenes modern hate speech. Like the other long Suras a good part of it is little more than rants of violence against those who are not Moslem. This cultural artefact of the Koran must surely distort the culture of the Moslem cult. To deny this is to be ignorant on a vast scale. Some of the more 'immoderate' phrases would be:
74-Let those (believers) who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter fight in the Cause of Allah, and whoso fights in the Cause of Allah, and is killed or gets victory, We shall bestow on him a great reward.
76-Those who believe, fight in the Cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Taghut (Satan, etc.). So fight you against the friends of Shaitan (Satan); Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaitan (Satan).
84-Then fight (O Muhammad SAW) in the Cause of Allah, you are not tasked (held responsible) except for yourself, and incite the believers (to fight along with you), it may be that Allah will restrain the evil might of the disbelievers. And Allah is Stronger in Might and Stronger in punishing.
89-But if they turn back (from Islam), take (hold) of them and kill them wherever you find them, and take neither Auliya' (protectors or friends) nor helpers from them.
144-O you who believe! Take not for Auliya' (protectors or helpers or friends) disbelievers instead of believers. Do you wish to offer Allah a manifest proof against yourselves?
If you reject any part of Muhammad’s messaging and teaching (including his demands to Jihad, kill or convert unbelievers), you will be punished in this life and the next. This is expressed in 4:14 and is a major reason why Muslim apostates are often killed. You can join the cult, but never leave.
In summary we have a long discourse within Sura 4 on the inalienable rights of Muslim men over women, their divinely sanctioned grace to own more than 1 wife, have sex slaves and manage women as they see fit. Along with that we have the Koranic demands to fight non-Muslims, kill the Infidel, convert or enslave the Unbeliever. Muslims must never trust Infidels or take them as friends. If you leave the cult you will be killed. Obey Muhammad [or Allah].
Such evocative verses of supremacy must certainly distort the Moslem mind and inculcate in their cult devotees a certain degree of supremacism and will to power.
Islam's Christianophobia runs deep in the Koran. One of the most important Suras is Sura 5 or The Table Spread. The table is spread for Muslims and Muslims only, containing all the food, delights and merriment that a full table confers upon the chosen and supreme of the Al Lah-Muhammad cult. Sura 5 has 120 verses and 25% are excitedly Christophobic or Christianophobic.
Much of this disjointed chapter is concerned with Bronze and Iron age laws, which one would find in the historical records of Bronze Age Babylonia, or Iron-Age Judea. This primitive 'law giving' is suffused by long rants against Jews and Christians. Within this dichotomy of law-giving, 3 Muslim 'virtues' are clearly defined. These are the important ‘tenets’ or categories which describe a ‘good’ Muslim, a member of Muhammad’s cult who follows the Koran, and Koranic ‘law’. The Muslim ‘virtues’ given in Sura 5 are:
First, a good Muslim must never accept Christians as friends (you may lie, deceive them into thinking you are friends but privately, you cannot accept them as equals or friends in any way).
Second, you must blindly follow and completely accept, whatever Muhammad has said or done.
Third kill, in the name of Jihad, you are ordered to execute or crucify the Jews and Christians.
Verses 05-010 and 05-035 sum up Sura 5 nicely. Moslems must engage in fighting against the Christians, and all Christians are doomed to Hellfire:

Sure 5:32, often quoted by Moslemophiles due to its sentence fragment (below) ‘if anyone saved a life, it would be if he saved the life of all mankind’, is an injunction for Muslims not to kill each other and the phrase ‘saving the life of all mankind’ clearly denotes that in-toto, mankind must be Moslem, to ‘be saved’. Moslems are forbidden to kill another Moslem but they can certainly murder, destroy or crucify Christians [5:33]:

Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by Allah by committing the major sins) in the land!. |

Waging 'war' against Muhammadanism, simply means not accepting Koranic doctrine, or the supremacy of Muhammad and the Al Lah moon idol (Baal). Waging 'war' is simply disbelief in any of the total-tenets espoused by Muhammadanism. Blasphemy is punishable by death, as is the mere questioning of anything Muhammad said or did.
The animus to Christians extends beyond the above and Jihad, to all of civil society. Muslims may be forced to live with Christians, but a ‘good’ Muslim cannot take Christians as friends (certainly never as equals):

O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya' (friends, protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliya' to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliya', then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers and unjust). |

Friendship is impossible with the Trinity worshipping Christians (hence pagan in the eyes of Muslims), who are linked to Judaism. Both ‘People of the Book’ have rejected the 'path' (05-15). In Koranic theology, Muhammad negates Christ (05-46, 05-65) and Mother Mary was actually a pious Muslim (05-75). Allah negates the Christian father or God. The Christian Trinity is a polytheist blasphemy.
Verse 5:14 condemns Christians for rejecting the Al Lah or Baal the moon idol of Mecca. Blasphemy is punishable by death in Koranic-Muhammadan ‘law’.

And from those who call themselves Christians, We took their covenant, but they have abandoned a good part of the Message that was sent to them. So We planted amongst them enmity and hatred till the Day of Resurrection (when they discarded Allah's Book, disobeyed Allah's Messengers and His Orders and transgressed beyond bounds in Allah's disobedience), and Allah will inform them of what they used to do. |
Verse 5:73 clearly expresses that the Christian Trinity is a false and blasphemous or criminal belief:

Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allah is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no ilah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilah (God -Allah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them. |
Christians are nothing but slaves of Allah [5:118], as was their leader Christ.
Muslims must war against the followers of Christs, because in the modern parlance, the Christians are ‘extremists’, transgressing the known ‘laws’ of Al Lah-Muhammad and engaged in acts of evil:

Exceed not the limits in your religion (by believing in something) other than the truth, and do not follow the vain desires of people who went astray in times gone by, and who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the Right Path." |

Those among the Children of Israel who disbelieved were cursed by the tongue of Dawud (David) and 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). That was because they disobeyed (Allah and the Messengers) and were ever transgressing beyond bounds. |

They used not to forbid one another from the Munkar (wrong, evildoing, sins, polytheism, disbelief, etc.) which they committed. Vile indeed was what they used to do. |
Due to these 'transgressions' and most importantly for the cult of Islam, Christians can be killed, executed or crucified for spreading ‘polytheism’ or ‘disbelief’.
Sura 5 is simply an atavistic, vicious, ruthless, bloody, totalitarian, and totally intolerant screed of Christophobia. It advocates the killing of Christians and tries to marginalize all Christian belief including the Trinity, the virgin birth, the crucifixion of Christ and the Risen. It supplants Christ with Muhammad and the Christian Father with Allah. It demands that Moslems attack and murder Christians until they become good slaves of Allah. The Koran is presented as the only 'truth', one which supersedes the Gospels, and which mandates blind devotion.
