Until the advent of materialism and 19th c. dogma, Western Civilisation was superior to anything Islam had developed. Islam has not aided in the development of the modern world; in fact civilisation has only been created in spite of Islam. Proof of this resides in the 'modern' world and the unending political-economic and spiritual poverty of Muslim states and regions. Squatting on richer civilisations is not 'progress'. Islam is pagan, totalitarian, and irrational.
Suffering through the Koran – Sura 22 named 'The Pilgrimage'.
'We, We, We, We'....Ok a 3rd person talking to the reader about Muslims being the only 'We'?? Hmmm.
by Ferdinand III
In the cult documents which will soon follow the life and travails of the Great Prophet Obamed [perhaps it will supersede the Submission 'religion' in human importance ?], the writers will undoubtedly use the 'pilgrimage' of the demi-God from the corrupt politics of Chicago to Washington as a turning point in human affairs. Nay, it will be portrayed of course as the most important event in the history of human affairs [and faithfully reported as such in the media and 'educational' systems]. One which changed mankind's fruitless struggle for freedom, into a higher crusade of hope, change and post-racialism. Glory to the Prophet.
But let's hope that the Obamed faithful are better and more exact scribes than those who attempted to write the Koran. For truly we say to you, that the words inside the foundational text of Islamic supremacism make no sense to either the infidel or to most 'believers'. Gibberish is gibberish.
The deification of a 'journey' is an old theme amongst all theologies, and the advance of Mohammed to conquer Mecca and enter the city and claim it as his own personal chattel is an example. But as usual with the Koran, there are no real details, facts, or real-world events which are given description in the mad politician's journey and retaking of his city of birth. We the reader are not engaged in the process, the surroundings or the reactions of real people, leaders, believers or those of other Arabian cults.
The writers of the Koran just assume that the audience is Arabic and that the reader an illiterate desert donkey. In the oral tradition of illiterate Arabia the Koran would have been read aloud and repetition in such oral expositions is mandatory. So it reads very badly. Instead of discovering the historicity of the 'journey' the reader is assaulted with the usual injunctions to be quiet, obey, submit, and watch out for the evil infidel. Creative and realistic writers the Koranic chroniclers were not. Accepting even a minimal level of intelligence from their reading audience never crossed their minds.
The first sentence opens and closes the Sura in a figurative sense, “O Mankind! Fear your Lord! For the convulsion of the Hour (of Judgment) will be a thing terrible!” This sums up the Sura or chapter. They could have stopped there. Obey the thing called Allah [a male Meccan moon deity]; and fear it for if he is displeased you will find yourself on the wrong end of his judgment on the fateful day that he gathers up all the bipeds and tells each who was naughty and who was nice. The naughty ones are killed or baked in Hell. The nice ones get the 5 star hotel treatment with wine, women and song.
And of course lots of 'We's' abound in the Sura. No one knows exactly who the 'We's' are. It might be 'Islam', 'Muslims' or simply Allah and his buddy Mohammed. “O mankind!....We created you....We may manifest (our power)....We bring you out as babes....We pour down rain.....” The 'We's' are busy people. Creating man, begetting children, sending down the rain [no snow is ever mentioned in the Koran]; pretty busy those 'We's'. If you don't believe that the 'We's' are supreme than “We shall make him taste the penalty of burning (Fire).” That must be the ethical-tolerant part of the Sura that Muslim apologists always reference.
Allah has no tolerance for those who oppose his best friend the illiterate politician Mohammed. “If any think that Allay will not help him (His Messenger) in this world and the Hereafter, let him stretch out a rope to the ceiling and cut (himself) off:” Well as usual this sentence makes no sense, but the idea can be grasped. You will support the moon deity's Messenger and nothing you can do will remove him from the favor of the divine moon spirit. A system of humanism and charity towards all, the Koran is not.
Both Jews and Christians will go to hell since Allah is very unhappy with those who worship other Gods. “These two antagonists dispute with each other about their Lord: but those who deny (their Lord), - for them will be cut out a garment of Fire: over their heads will be poured out boiling water....In addition there will be maces of iron (to punish) them.” Isn't the ethical program and spiritual enlightenment of such ideas simply inspirational ? You can see why the Islamo-apologists are so arrogantly certain that the Koran and Islam supports humanism, love and flexible tolerance.
Like Mohammed's capture in war of Mecca, the Muslims have a duty to fight and expect divine aid, “Allah will certainly aid those who aid His (cause); - for verily Allah is Full of Strength, Exalted in Might, (able to enforce His Will).” If Unbelievers are not converted Muslims must engage in jihad, “But those who strive against Our Signs, to frustrate them, - they will be Companions of the Fire.” Note that in Islam, all natural, normal events from the sun rising, to grass growing are 'signs' of Allah's omnipotence and relevance. Denying Allah's role in anything in other words, even a casual event like a thunderstorm, is to sin. How very rational and tolerant, “For those who reject Faith and deny Our Signs, there will be a humiliating punishment.” Yes punishing those why deny Allah is a very clear theme indeed.
To assuage the great Allah one must grovel and ritualise your miserable de-humanised life: “Bow down, prostrate yourselves, and adore your Lord: and do good; that you may prosper.” and “To every people We have appointed rites and ceremonies why they must follow:” If you don't genuflect and babble to Allah in a submissive position of ritual than death is your reward, “It is the Fire (of Hell)! Allah has promised it to the Unbelievers! and evil is that destination!”
Yep that is the Koran. No information whatsoever on the seminal event of Mohammed's journey to Mecca. Nothing. Just the usual supremacist and mad ravings about submitting or going to Hell. Maybe the academics and media scribes can again inform us knaves why this is a 'holy' book ? One can only hope that when the cult of the new Prophet Obamed writes the foundational texts for their theology, that they are better, more realistic and more humanist, than the wild-eyed semi-illiterate, fascist intolerants who wrote the Koran.
