Until the advent of materialism and 19th c. dogma, Western Civilisation was superior to anything Islam had developed. Islam has not aided in the development of the modern world; in fact civilisation has only been created in spite of Islam. Proof of this resides in the 'modern' world and the unending political-economic and spiritual poverty of Muslim states and regions. Squatting on richer civilisations is not 'progress'. Islam is pagan, totalitarian, and irrational.
As the media and politicians, along with Marxist multi-culti one-world-wonders, drone on, that Islam is Peace, they might want to actually read Mein Koran, and Sura 9 as a primer on what Muhammadism really entails. 40% of Sura 9 is hate speech against non-Moslems. For instance:

'Them' means Jews and Christians of course, though Pope Frank would say that this is merely the incitement to kill made by 'arms traffickers' who misinterpreted mad Muhammad.
Sura 9 is the last or second last revelation to the great man [not Obama], Muhammad, the founder of the cult of Submission [submit to Muhammad]. It thus trumps all of the other Sura's with its violence, hate, and supremacism with the exception of Sura 5 and possibly Sura 8 or the Spoils of War [nice religious ring to that snappy title...].
Since 'only' 40% or more of this chapter named 'Repentance' [repent, humble yourself to Muhammad or else....] demonizes and advocates violence against the Kufar, or Unbeliever, Moslems and their allies will of course whine that 60% is thus not violent. This is true. 60% is the usual litany of Koranic gibberish. Follow Muhammad. Obey Allah. But the central feature of this Sura, as with so much else in Mein Koran is the expectation that 'real Moslems' will commit violence against non-Moslems. Sura 9 in fact adjures the use of Jihad.
9:49 “Among them is (many) a man who says: 'Grant me exemption and do not draw me into trial.' Have they not fallen into trial already? And indeed Hell surrounds the Unbelievers (on all sides).”
and
“The Arabs of the desert are the worst in unbelief and hypocrisy, and most fitted to be in ignorance of the command which Allah has sent down to His Messenger: but Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.” [9:97]
It is a simple fact that Mein Koran demands that Moslems must fight the Unbeliever. This includes Jews, Christians and other pagans. Arabs who do not join the cult and fight the enemies of Islam are doomed to hellfire by the all-knowing, free-will denying Hub'Allah.

Nice. The Lord is Baal or the ilah of Mecca. This Lord is also conflated in the Koran with Muhammad. For a spokesman, Muhammad, seems to be on the same level as the moon deity of Mecca, and clearly in charge of the cult. There is little difference between Baal and Muhammad. They are usually illustrated as one and the same, or firmly in alliance.
Sura 8 is a screaming ode to obliterate the Infidel Kufar, sub-human. Out of 75 verses in Chapter 8, there are only 33 which could be classified as hate speech under existing hate speech laws in Canada and Europe. A favourite is surely this catchy phrase 8:39:
“And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah sees all that they do.”
Moslems must fight on until the House of War is subdued. This is what is meant by 'no more tumult or oppression'. The existence of Infidels and deniers of the Allah cult is simply insufferable to the pious Moslem. The Allah-thing's commandment is clear – every human must be in bondage and submission to the moon deity, or to the cult of Muhammad.
Cultural Marxism has the following Rockwell-painting regarding the followers of Muhammad. They are dancing, happy and profound people. Hair flying in the wind. Broad smiles. Whirling dervishes of enlightened camaraderie, holding hands with Jews and Christians. Loving glances between Moslem father and daughter. Well dressed, impeccably articulate, devoted, earnest, inspiring, and so moderate....interested in science, culture and truly understanding others.
This media stereotype of the perfect man and woman [who are Moslem], hardly comports itself with the reality of say, Sura 8.
How many Moslems have read Sura 8? How many believe it? What impact does a chapter of what can only be termed hate speech have on the general culture of the Meccan cult? Why is Islam a religion when Sura 8 and indeed the entire book deny free-will, rationality, independence, and respect for others? Since when is unbridled hate speech religious?
The Koran very clearly states that non-Moslem assets are to be destroyed. The Kabaa shrine or Cube, in which the Lord or ilah was Baal the moon deity [and Muhammad's family were his caretakers]; was one of 360 idols. Baal was uber alles. Muhammad's first action [besides killing his enemies], when entering Mecca was to smash all the Kabaa idols save that of Baal. He was the ilah. Only Baal can be worshipped. Jews and Christians, and indeed all non Moslems are to be terrorized and killed. Part of the acts of terror committed by Muhammad and his men was the devastation of villages, farms, fortresses and centers of Jewish and Christian, as well as Pagan, worship:
[8.12] When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.
Throughout history Moslems have wiped out non Islamic artifacts. Churches, shrines, libraries, monuments, statues, domes, places of veneration – all eradicated because the Koran and Muhammadism does not allow for any association of any article, image, or non-Moslem building which stands in direct contradiction to either the Koran, or the worship of the Allah-Baal deity.
In Iraq alone over 250 churches as of 2015 have been destroyed. In 2014 it was reported that;
"There used to be 300 churches in Iraq, and now they are only 52, which means the Muslims have destroyed 248 churches in the country of Iraq, alone. While the modern minded people (who think they are intelligent), give seemingly pious objections against Russia’s anti-sodomite laws, they do not lift a finger against the real and blood oppression that are occurring every day in nations like Iraq and Syria.

The U.S. and U.K., which oversaw the transition of Iraq from a dictatorship to a democracy, did nothing to ensure the protection of Christian minorities there. Now, Christians face persecution and death, and most have fled ancient communities.”
But the morons of the world will cry that Islam is peace, Christianity the real terrorist threat, and that 90% of all terror attacks are by non-Moslems.....Since 9-11 Moslems have committed some 25.000 Jihadist attacks, meaning that according to the witless academics, politicians, and multi-culti; non Moslems have carried out 250.000 similar attacks. Of course there is no evidence for this; not even for 25 similar attacks by non Moslems on Moslems. Nor is there any evidence that non Moslems are aggressively targeting Moslem assets, mosques and Masjid for destruction. Only Moslems are allowed to wipe out Christian and Jewish places of worship, some of them 2000 years old and not be criticized.

Medieval Belgian astronomer Godefroid Wendelin essayed a collection of observations regarding the earth's tilt, 'wobble' and angle of axis. It is a rather remarkable assembly for a man from the non-existent 'dark ages', of the 16th century, before the 'scientific revolution' of the 17th.
“Wendelin, famous mediaeval Belgian astronomer, made his observations of the Obliquity of the Ecliptic at the French town of Forcalquier, in the Basses Alpes. He says on page 15 of his Memoir that his instrument was a quadrant, divided into single minutes in the quadrants. It was made of wood, but so solid that both in the winter and in the summer it gave the same distances of the stars as were published by Tycho and Kepler.” [found in Dodwell's famous manuscript on pre-modern astronomy]
Godefroid's work contains a list of the obliquity of the ecliptic from Thales circa 558 BC, Erathosthenes [who measured the earth's circumference] circa 230 BC, Hipparchus [of astrolabe fame] circa 135 BC, Ptolemy 126 AD, and Tyro Brahe a contemporary who tried to create a hybrid Ptolemaic-Coepernican solar system and structure. Surely a dark age of irrationality....
Why would the calculation of an ecliptic and the earth's axis tilt be of importance? It aids in understanding cosmology, cosmic disturbances, impacts on climate [for example the great flood which is an obvious fact, how was this caused ?]; and even in calculating a scientifically based age of both the earth and solar system. Fluctuating axial tilts have a dramatic impact on climate, geography and of course mankind's development. It is a singular medieval achievement to have spent so much effort and time divining the actual historical tilt and mathematics to support such observations and past ancient claims.
“Most people are aware of the earths axial tilt but mistakenly believe it to be a fixed and unchanging value of approximately 23.5 degrees. This however is not so as it was shown by the American astronomer J. N. Stockwell, in 1873, that the earths axial tilt is not constant but varies in a regular cycle over thousands of years between approximately 22 and 24 degrees maximum. At the present time, we are heading in the direction of minimum tilt and will reach that point in approximately 13,000 years.”
Axial tilts – arcane but important, whose secrets were pursued with great vigor in the medieval period. But remember, Godefroid lived in the 'dark ages'. He knew nothing.
Sura 7, it madness reviewed here, is so very indicative of the intolerance Islam has for Christianity and any non-Muhammadan belief system. Sura 7 contains three basic parts:
1) First, it asserts that the story of Adam and Eve is centered around a rejection of the Allah cult and not following Allah's 'sharia'. In this retelling of the Old Testament narrative Satan leads Jews and Christians 'astray'. This makes it all the easier to kill them.
2) Again the Koran presents and Islamifies the story of Moses idiotically maintaining that some 1900 years before the advent of Islam, Moses was a prophet of Islam and the moon deity or ilah [Lord Baal] of Mecca.
3). 18% of the verses in this ridiculously poorly written tract are threats against non-Moslems. Out of 206 verses 37 preach violence and aggression in some form, against Unbelievers.
Sura 7 reiterates the entire objective of Islam, namely to force you to submit your worthless self to the rituals and Jihad ordained by Muhammad-Allah, the moon deity who shrine was caretaken by Muhammad's family.
007:037 * URL Who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)? For such their appointed portion (good things of this worldly life and their period of stay therein) will reach them from the Book (of Decrees) until, when Our Messengers (the angel of death and his assistants) come to them to take their souls, they (the angels) will say: "Where are those whom you used to invoke and worship besides Allah," they will reply, "They have vanished and deserted us." And they will bear witness against themselves, that they were disbelievers.
Moslems must hate Christians since Catholics associate 'others' with the Allah moon deity. The Trinity is an affront to the ilah or moon deity of Mecca, who reigns alone. His consort Allat or the Sun goddess, and his daughters, Uzza and Manat [Venus and the Moon], were summarily destroyed by Muhammad and a law proscribed their veneration – which had existed for some 3000 years previously. It was Allah or nothing. Allah is of course a euphemism for Muhammad. The Koran always equates Muhammad with Allah, and never as a subservient.
“But those who reject our Signs [Jews, Christians, the Infidel] – punishment shall touch them, for they did not cease from transgressing.” [6:49]
Sura 6 or 'The Cattle' continues Mein Koran's disturbing and quite cultish hatred of the Infidel one reads in the first in the first 4 Suras. Suras 2 to 5 and a summary description of their incitement to violence against Infidels and Kufars can be found here.
In Sura 6, fully 15 % or 24 verses, advocate intolerant protestations against non-Moslem cult members. This violence is summarized here. Moslems and their ardent, brain-dead apologists cannot possibly ignore, re-write, twist or 'spin' the following hate speech:
6-43: When Our Torment reached them, [Jews, Christians, Infidel pigs] why then did they not believe with humility? But their hearts became hardened, and Shaitan (Satan) made fairseeming to them that which they used to do.
6-45: So the roots [meaning their lives] of the people who did wrong were cut off. And all the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists).
6-93: ..And if you could but see when the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) are in the agonies of death, while the angels are stretching forth their hands (saying): "Deliver your souls! This day you shall be recompensed with the torment of degradation because of what you used to utter against Allah other than the truth. And you used to reject His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) with disrespect!"
6-139: And they say: "What is in the bellies of such and such cattle (milk or foetus) is for our males alone, and forbidden to our females (girls and women), but if it is born dead, then all have shares therein." He will punish them for their attribution (of such false orders to Allah). Verily, He is AllWise, AllKnower. (Tafsir AtTabari, Vol. 8, Page 49).
Infidel apes and pigs are untrustworthy, lying, deceitful and unworthy. Arab-Moslem supremacism [there is a clear hierarchy within Muhammadism, with Arab Moslems related to the mad Muhammad, on top]; is evinced by the following 'revelation' from the Meccan moon idol to the cult's founder:
6-165: And it is He Who has made you generations coming after generations, replacing each other on the earth. And He has raised you in ranks, some above others that He may try you in that which He has bestowed on you. Surely your Lord is Swift in retribution, and certainly He is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.
[note; 6-165 is clearly referencing the superiority of Moslem Arabs over Jews and Christians]
How convenient. Wouldn't everyone like to be so blessed with such divine authority to engage in a blessed project of supremacism.
Kill the Infidels:
6-6: Have they not seen how many a generation before them We have destroyed whom We had established on the earth such as We have not established you? And We poured out on them rain from the sky in abundance, and made the rivers flow under them. Yet We destroyed them for their sins, and created after them other generations.
['Them' refers to any who have rejected the Lord or ilah].
6-44: So, when they forgot (the warning) with which they had been reminded, We opened to them the gates of every (pleasant) thing, until in the midst of their enjoyment in that which they were given, all of a sudden, We took them to punishment, and lo! They were plunged into destruction with deep regrets and sorrows.
6-70: And leave alone those who take their religion as play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. But remind (them) with it (the Qur'an) lest a person be given up to destruction for that which he has earned, when he will find for himself no protector or intercessor besides Allah, and even if he offers every ransom, it will not be accepted from him. Such are they who are given up to destruction because of that which they have earned. For them will be a drink of boiling water and a painful torment because they used to disbelieve.
6-133: And your Lord is Rich (Free of all wants), full of Mercy, if He will, He can destroy you, and in your place make whom He will as your successors, as He raised you from the seed of other people.
Follow mad Muhammad and friends or be destroyed. Find yourself in the 'other' camp and you open to are predations in this life and the next from the Meccan cult. If Muhammad and the ubermensch don't kill you off in this life, the moon deity or ilah will serve you your just 'rewards' of torture, pain and eternal damnation. All because you did not follow Mein Koran, engage in Jihad, hate the Infidel or pray 5 times a day to Muhammad or his family idol, the Al Lah.
Sura 5 or 'The Table Spread' is a long, odious, clanging tirade against Non-Moslems. In fact some 22-25 verses condemn Christianity out of 120. This is approximately 20%. Remember this is the first or second-most important stream of Allah-inspired thought given by Muhammad, Islam and indeed the world's most important human in history. The Christians are clearly cursed in this Sura by a 'superior' Moslem sect which has the blessings of this Allah-thing. The crescendo of hatred towards the Christian is reached in verse 33:
5:33 “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter.”
This is pretty clear. Verse 33 follows about 20 verses which rage against the 'People of the Book' as being criminals who rejected the true word of the Allah thing. The Moslem hatred of the Christian is affirmed in the following hate-speech:
51. O you who believe ! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other.
Note; This is pretty clear – the Jews and their Christian allies are enemies. There is no verse of love or compassion for either group, anywhere in this Sura.
78. Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel who rejected Faith, by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary: because they disobeyed and persisted in Excesses.
Note; This piece of propaganda would have impressed the Nazis. Muslims are superior to the other 'Peoples of the Book' because they contravened the Covenants and the words of their Prophets and engaged in 'Excesses'. No details by Mohammed or the writers of the Koran, of these transgressions exist anywhere in the Koran. Just a multitude of repetitive propaganda – the Jews and Christians defied their Prophets, behaved badly, rejected the true faith and therefore are destined to be superseded, punished and destroyed by Islam.
This is nothing more than insane, rambling, ravings – supported by more screaming in verses 79, 80, 81, 82 and 86 – to name just a few.
Humiliating and killing them is the climax of this rage. Here we see yet again the Moslem lie that Allah is the same as the Christian God when in fact the 'one', the ilah or Allah, was Hub'Al a moon deity whose rites and rituals were likely formed through the practices of Assyro-Babylonian culture mixed with local Arab practices. Since Jesus or Issu was really a Moslem, the rejection by Christians of the Allah's true 'word' and the embracing of polytheism as denoted in the worship of the Trinity, mark out Christians as evil, criminal, unclean, wayward and dangerous.
There is not one single expression in this supremacist chapter on tolerance, humility, acceptance, co-existence, love or gratitude, nor of the Golden Rule. Islam rules. Anyone who 'fights' against this 'fact' must be killed or at the very least dominated and humbled. This is not a religion but a cult. Any objective analysis makes this plain.
In 'The Crisis of Civilization', Hilaire Belloc, correctly states that culture is King. If your society believes that all cultures are equally esteemed and should be affirmed as relatively the same, no vital force and impetus will exist to propel civilization, on all of its various planes of existence, to 'broad sunlit uplands' of development. Decay and rot will set in. The Roman and Hapsburg polycultural empires make that very clear. Not even the veracity and energy of Christianity could have saved Rome. Contrary to Gibbon, its decline had begun long before the 4th century.
“But what was the internal force? How were men convinced ? Why did they join [Christianity]...Often it meant ruin...and sometimes torture and death....A man became Christian because he found that the Church affirmed things which he recognized to be true in experience and holy in character. It was loved, witnessed to and defended to the death by those who thus felt it to be, when in contact with it, divine...It was not society which proceeded from the doctrine, but the doctrine that came from the society.”
Culture creates civilization. If your culture preaches Evolutionary-survival of the fittest and raciology [Nazism], you will manufacture a death cult. If your society elevates scientist naturalism and evolution [Communism], you will produce the same immorality, violence, and human-hatred as the cult of Evolutionary-raciology. Once you denude Europe and North America of Christian doctrine confirming for example, that a Meccan celestial cult whose own artifacts and leaders preach and have preached Jihad, death, war and the visitation of destruction upon non-cult members, your own end is rather assured. It is a question of time.
Without the Catholic Church, the 'legacy' of Greece and Rome with most of the 'experts' ignoring their vast infirmities, calamities, slavery and human debasement; would never have survived. None of it. From the 4th century onwards the Church scooped up the breaking pieces of the Roman-Greek tradition and merged them with her own culture.
Belloc: “But the truth of the business....is almost the opposite of what has been said so long. It was not the spread of the Faith which undermined the high civilization of pagan antiquity; on the contrary, the Faith saved all that could be saved; and, but for the conversion of the Roman Empire, nothing of our culture would have remained.”
The above is obviously true. The decline of Rome into Germanic kingdoms was a blessing and long overdue. Inflation, taxation, bureaucratic corruption, abortion, slavery, 90% of the population in penury, a retardation post the 1rst century in technology, a declination in arts and architecture, not to mention the paucity of literature and science....the Roman empire by 250 AD had long outlived its usefulness. Thankfully there was an institution which could acquire the main artifacts, integrate them into a better society, and carry their legacies onward.
Islam uses 'keywords' to describe those who should go to the Hellfire, or be tormented in this lifetime; or who should be executed, crucified, and humiliated. The key words used would include those who commit injustice, are unfair, steal, lie, deceive, create social discord, practice polytheism [eg. Christianity], worship false idols [the Jews], are criminals [all non-Moslems], or who do not support the Umma or community with tax payments, hospitality, and reverence.
The ugly fact about the Koran and Islam is of course that anyone who does not follow the Muhammad, or the Allah [both of whom can be considered in their Koranic context to be the same]; are all of the aforementioned apellations. The cult rules. If you are outside of the cult, you are a criminal polytheist and instigator of social dislocation. These facts have to be kept foremost in mind when reading the Koran. As 4:30 and 4:92 both state, you must never kill a Moslem [but killing an infidel is fine]:
30:O you who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves unjustly except it be a trade amongst you, by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to you.
And
92:It is not for a believer to kill a believer except (that it be) by mistake, and whosoever kills a believer by mistake, (it is ordained that) he must set free a believing slave and a compensation (blood money, i.e Diya) be given to the deceased's family, unless they remit it. If the deceased belonged to a people at war with you and he was a believer; the freeing of a believing slave (is prescribed), and if he belonged to a people with whom you have a treaty of mutual alliance, compensation (blood money - Diya) must be paid to his family, and a believing slave must be freed. And whoso finds this (the penance of freeing a slave) beyond his means, he must fast for two consecutive months in order to seek repentance from Allah. And Allah is Ever AllKnowing, AllWise.
Compare this sentiment with verse 4:56:
Surely! Those who disbelieved in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) We shall burn them in Fire. As often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for other skins that they may taste the punishment. Truly, Allah is Ever Most Powerful, AllWise.
Sura 4 makes profoundly disturbing reading. Like the other long Suras a good part of it is little more than rants of violence against those who are not Moslem. This cultural artefact of the Koran must surely distort the culture of the Moslem cult. To deny this is to be purblind on a vast scale.
The key to the Koran is this: it is dichotomous. Obey the moon deity and be 'saved'. Disobey and be killed, crucified, executed, or humiliated in both this life and the next [5:33]. Violence and manichean supremacism in Sura 3 can be found in the following verses:

3-10 Verily, those who disbelieve, neither their properties nor their offspring will avail them whatsoever against Allah; and it is they who will be fuel of the Fire.
3-12 Say (O Muhammad SAW) to those who disbelieve: "You will be defeated and gathered together to Hell, and worst indeed is that place to rest."
3-28 Let not the believers take the disbelievers as Auliya (supporters, helpers, etc.) instead of the believers, and whoever does that will never be helped by Allah in any way, except if you indeed fear a danger from them. And Allah warns you against Himself (His Punishment) and to Allah is the final return.
3-56 "As to those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe torment in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers."
3-106 On the Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) when some faces will become white and some faces will become black; as for those whose faces will become black (to them will be said): "Did you reject Faith after accepting it? Then taste the torment (in Hell) for rejecting Faith."
3-116 Surely, those who reject Faith (disbelieve in Muhammad SAW as being Allah's Prophet and in all that which he has brought from Allah), neither their properties, nor their offspring will avail them aught against Allah. They are the dwellers of the Fire, therein they will abide. (Tafsir AtTabari, Vol. 4, Page 58).
3-131 And fear the Fire, which is prepared for the disbelievers.
3-192 "Our Lord! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him, and never will the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) find any helpers.

The above is pretty clear to any except Western Marxists, most academics, the media and the political elite. Islam is not Islamism, it is simply Islam. The world is cleanly divided into two parts. The house of War or the Infidel is the area of the world which must be warred against – this Sura has many verses which mandate aggressive war against the Unbeliever on behalf of Allah [see 120-128, 149-160] for example. Allah is the only free-will force in the Universe and he or it, will of course grant victory to those of 'faith', with 'faith', and 'believing' simply denoting pious Moslems and those who follow the Koran and Muhammad. But you must 'strive' against the Infidel and be rest assured of victory [3:123], as was achieved at Badr, and be content in knowing that Moslems will be granted paradise and the Infidel will find his abode in hellfire.

In 'The Crisis of Civilization', written in 1937, Belloc, the Irish-French writer, soldier, historian and politician rightly proclaims the fact, that it was the Catholic Church, and the Christian faith, which created civilization, assimilating the failed pagan cultures of both Rome and Greece, and imparting a new energy, viewpoint and philosophical world-view, which allowed Europe to accede to world supremacy:
“It was the Faith which gradually and indirectly transformed the slave into the serf, and the serf into the free peasant. It was the Faith which took the guild, inherited from the Pagan Empire, and set it up for the foundational thing it was during all the great medieval period: the guarantee of freedom. It was the Faith which by its moral atmosphere checked and curbed usury...which put competition within its bounds...We cannot build up a society synthetically, for it is an organic thing...”
Culture is King. When your secular culture preaches pond scum became human; intolerant Gay theology is now education; the state is the omniscient arbiter of 'rights', money, truth and what can be said; or that vicious atavisms such as Islam are now peace; then the end is not far nigh. The Roman and Greek empires were slave based, superstitious entities, which after a time, did not promote invention, markets, initiative, art, literature and science. They decayed from within. As their cultures succumbed to inflation, bureaucratic statism, abortion, sexual deviance and confusion, mythologies and legends, so too did their empires become static, decayed, sensual, and their currency and value systems debased, clipped, and indeed worthless.
“That the culture and civilization of Christendom – what was called for centuries in general terms 'Europe', was made by the Catholic Church gathering up the social traditions of the Graeco-Roman Empire, inspiring them and giving the whole of that great body a new life. It was the Catholic Church which made up, gave us our unity and our whole philosophy of life and formed the nature of the white world.”
The Church reformed the notion of family, the right to life, communal obligation and responsibility, economic relations, and importantly changed the philosophy of the world from might-makes-right, child-sacrifice, usurious greed; to one centered around dignity, truth, charity, forgiveness and equality. No other cultural civilization in history has even come remotely close to what the Catholic Church has given to the world.
Belloc wrote 'The Crusades' in 1937. All the self-important, magnificent Western egos, ignorant about Islam, Jihad, and the 1400 year death struggle with an Oriental fascism; devoid of any knowledge whatsoever about the Crusades and why, after 400 years of Moslem rape, slaughter and destruction of Christianity from Arabia to Southern France they were necessary; of course [whilst flicking their hair], pronounce their hatred of the entire enterprise. Ignorance is ignorance not bliss or science. Belloc, during the heyday of totalitarianism which is much in vogue again today, wrote this about the Meccan moon cult:
Belloc in 1937: “....we have fallen back [in religion] and Islam has in the main preserved its soul. Modern Europe and particularly western Europe has progressively lost its religion, and especially that united religious doctrine permeating the whole community, which unity gives spiritual strength to that community.”
What would Belloc write now? Europe has completely lost its mind, not only its soul. Faith leads to reason and reason to faith. Destroy either, and your society will fall. Islam has indeed retained 'its soul', due to the fact that Islamic or more accurately Muhammadan dogma, cannot, has not, and never shall change. The Koran is immutable and irreconcilable with both faith and reason. A cult of cant is not a religion, especially one as blood thirsty and primitive as the Meccan cult.
Belloc on the modern malaise, this written in 1937: “As nations we worship ourselves , we worship the nation; or we worship (some few of us) a particular economic arrangement believed to be the satisfaction of social justice. Those who direct us...have no major spiritual interest. Their major personal interest is private gain...the establishment of a plutocracy.”
No one can deny the above. The US Federal system is a bankrupted mockery of a few dozen, perhaps a few hundred families and plutocratic ruling interests dominating the political-economy. The same is true of every other major industrialized country. Faith, Christianity, an appeal to the immaterial, strength through faith and reason, no longer resonates and no longer plays a role in the West. Various cults – Cultural Marxism, Darwinism, Gay, Relativity, Statism – now dominate.
And what did Belloc think of the longer term ability of a spiritually vacant West in resisting Islam?
“Perhaps that change will be deferred [he refers to a change within the Near East], but change there will be, continuous and great. Nor does it seem probable that at the end of such a change, especially if the process be prolonged, Islam will be the loser.”
Back in 1937 Belloc the percipient politician, writer and a trained soldier, felt that Islam might well re-awake, rise up, shake the West and proceed apace with its Jihadic struggle to extinguish civilization. Given the current Moslem invasion of Europe, the endless Moslem barbarity and atrocity around the world, committed in the name of Muhammad, this is a most perspicacious and relevant forecast.
Belloc, in his great book 'The Crusades' retells the dramatic Christian takeover of the Levant and Israel in poetic terms. How did a small group of devout men, fighting for their faith against the Moslem Jihad, sustain territorial coverage, 2500 miles from home, against overwhelming odds for 2 centuries? It is a spectacular and significant affair, and if the Christians had taken Damascus, it would have been permanent, meaning Islam would have been riven in two, never to unite and a Christian state based on Frankish power would have survived into the modern era.
Belloc: “The main affair of these twenty years [1099-1119] was....the capture of the seacoast, on a strip very long, narrow, and ill provided with communications, crushed, north of Acre, between the sea and high mountains. The conquest of this flat coast in so short a time would seem, if we look at the map and think of the place as Mohammedan territory, and of the Crusaders (after the repatriation of the main body) as a handful of aliens, inexplicable.”
The original Crusade ended up with about 30.000 men in front of Jerusalem in July 1099, the remnant of 100.000 who had left Constantinople. Man for man the Christians overwhelmed the Moslem. Small groups of Christians routinely slaughtered forces 5-15 times their size. They were bigger men, better fed, technologically more advanced, with superior weapons and tactics. The only victories the Moslems could seize were ones of either surprise [night attacks], or ambush [guides leading the Christians who did not have good maps, into a dead end ambush].
Islam was divided. The 'north' beyond Israel was Sunni Turk. The 'south' and 'west' were Fatimid Shiite. Importantly the cult of Muhammad was degenerating in the late 11 th century. Ghazali's Koranic interpretation that all science and philosophy had to be shut down [10th century] had already denuded Islam and its conquered peoples of any energy, intellectual vibrancy, and economic initiative that the Moslems had inherited, but did nothing to stimulate. Islam was dying by 1100.
Belloc: “...the Crusaders found Islam, in this particular region, at a low ebb in its cultural patriotism. Finally there was the large Christian population....”
Is the Levant, Syria and Israel, Christians were still the majority population by 1100. The lie that Christians converted en masse to Muhammad's cult is absurd. If they joined the cult of Mecca it was to avoid, taxes, rape, social degradation, or to move up within the reigning bureaucracy. Most people kept their Christian faith. Unlike today the medieval man and woman, was intelligent enough to know the different between a real faith, and a fascist fraud, which merges church and state, advocates misogyny, Jihad and violence; and which hates the 'other'.
