Until the advent of materialism and 19th c. dogma, Western Civilisation was superior to anything Islam had developed. Islam has not aided in the development of the modern world; in fact civilisation has only been created in spite of Islam. Proof of this resides in the 'modern' world and the unending political-economic and spiritual poverty of Muslim states and regions. Squatting on richer civilisations is not 'progress'. Islam is pagan, totalitarian, and irrational.

Moslem dialecticism. A pagan pre-modern form, of post-modern pagan Marxism. Reading such nonsense should fluster and enrage any sentient soul. We discover in this Sura for example that the burning bush of Moses fame was of course in reality, the spirit of 'Allah'.......Right.

So when he reached it (the fire), he was called from the right side of the valley, in the blessed place from the tree: "O Musa (Moses)! Verily! I am Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)! |
This Sura makes it clear that the Koran is uber-alles because the 'ilah or one' of Muhammad, which used to be Hubal or the moon deity of Mecca, said so. Allah is really the God of all Gods including the Jewish and Christian versions of monotheistic divine worship. How circular. How convenient. The Sura 'Narration' is really a long exposition on why the Koran reigns and why all Jewish and Christian prophets were really in the employ of Muhammad's ilah, thus affirming the idea of Allah and granting the concept legitimacy:
...“But (now), when the Truth has come to them from Ourselves, they say, 'Why are not (Signs) sent to him, like those which were sent to Moses.'” [28:48]
In other words we the Quraysh Arab tribe have now revealed to Jews and Arabs alike, the real 'truth' of Allah and Islam. But the Jews still complain that there are no 'Signs' such as a burning bush, the tablets containing the commandments, or the magical feats produced by Moses, being offered by Mohammed. Ah those insolent Jews, always asking for proof.
The answer is simple, Allah is all powerful and does not need to give specific 'Signs'.
Allah helps those he wants to help. He kills those he does not like. It is rather simple isn't it ?
“...but Allah guides those whom He will. And He knows best those who receive guidance.” [28:56]
Allah has absolutely nothing to do with the Christian or Jewish conceptions of God. To suggest this is fatuous ignorance.
Further, the Koran is the end point of human development, laws and 'truth' because Muhammad or Allah [they are the same in the Koran] said so. They have given signs – the weightiest of which is the Koran of course. The Koran validates Allah. Allah validates Muhammad. Muhammad demands that you validate Allah. Nice. If you dare argue this circularity and illogic it is a sin. Sin is punished by torment and death. Simple. Obey, never inquire and please shut up and follow the program. Allah might if he so deigns, lead you to paradise. Or maybe he won't. Only Allah knows.
Violence is never far from the surface in this chapter with 23% of the verses promising histrionic destruction and 'striving' against non-Moslems. This is the Koran after all. Anyone who does not follow the commands of Allah, as presented supposedly by Moses or any other Jewish prophet, or indeed of course by the greatest man in history Muhammad, is simply doomed. Moses was a Moslem in Koranic theology. Allah therefore had to destroy Egypt and any other criminal polytheism and its followers:

So We seized him and his hosts [Pharaoh and the Egyptians] and We threw them all into the sea (and drowned them). So behold (O Muhammad SAW) what was the end of the Zalimun [wrong-doers, polytheists and those who disbelieved in the Oneness of their Lord (Allah), or rejected the advice of His Messenger Musa (Moses)]. |

And We made them leaders inviting to the Fire, and on the Day of Resurrection, they will not be helped. |
|
|
And We made a curse to follow them in this world, and on the Day of Resurrection, they will be among Al-Maqbuhun (those who are prevented to receive Allah's Mercy or any good, despised or destroyed, etc.). |
|
|
And indeed We gave Musa (Moses), after We had destroyed the generations of old, the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah)] as an enlightenment for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy, that they might remember (or receive admonition). |
|
|
And you (O Muhammad SAW) were not on the western side (of the Mount), when We made clear to Musa (Moses) the commandment, and you were not among those present. |
The Christians are likewise threatened with annihilation since they are polytheists and believe in the Trinity or the 3-natured aspect of the Godhead:

Is he whom We have promised an excellent promise (Paradise), which he will find true, like him whom We have made to enjoy the luxuries of the life of (this) world, then on the Day of Resurrection, he will be among those brought up (to be punished in the Hell-fire)? |

And it will be said (to them): "Call upon your (so-called) partners (of Allah), and they will call upon them, but they will give no answer to them, and they will see the torment. (They will then wish) if only they had been guided! |
Anyone who does not follow the Allah thing is doomed:

And how many a town (population) have We destroyed, which were thankless for its means of livelihood (disobeyed Allah, and His Messengers, by doing evil deeds and crimes)! And those are their dwellings, which have not been inhabited after them except a little. And verily! We have been the inheritors. |

And never will your Lord destroy the towns (populations) until He sends to their mother town a Messenger reciting to them Our Verses. And never would We destroy the towns unless the people thereof are Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, oppressors and tyrants). |
The pagan Quraish Arabs and the Jews, who rejected Muhammad's ministry in his early days in Mecca and Medina respectively, are also named by Allah as criminal Unbelievers:

And if (We had) not (sent you to the people of Makkah) in case a calamity should seize them for (the deeds) that their hands have sent forth, they should have said: "Our Lord! Why did You not send us a Messenger? We should then have followed Your Ayat (Verses of the Qur'an) and should have been among the believers." |

But when the truth (i.e. Muhammad SAW with his Message) has come to them from Us, they say: "Why is he not given the like of what was given to Musa (Moses)?" Did they not disbelieve in that which was given to Musa (Moses) of old? They say: "Two kinds of magic [the Taurat (Torah) and the Qur'an] each helping the other!" And they say: "Verily! In both we are disbelievers." |
Any who reject Allah are evil. And the evil ones must be punished:

Whosoever brings good (Islamic Monotheism along with righteous deeds), he shall have the better thereof, andwhosoever brings evil (polytheism along with evil deeds) then, those who do evil deeds will only be requited for what they used to do. |
The cult demands are rather straightforward. Obey Muhammad-Allah or perish and be tormented in the afterlife. To illiterate minds who who might desire an eternity of pleasure after the pains and travails of human existence this might appear to be a satisfying program. For rational people, educated, and fluent in reality, the decrees by Muhammad come across as shrill, intolerant, banal and vicious. Yet this cult is now a 'religion'.
