Until the advent of materialism and 19th c. dogma, Western Civilisation was superior to anything Islam had developed. Islam has not aided in the development of the modern world; in fact civilisation has only been created in spite of Islam. Proof of this resides in the 'modern' world and the unending political-economic and spiritual poverty of Muslim states and regions. Squatting on richer civilisations is not 'progress'. Islam is pagan, totalitarian, and irrational.

The barren repetitive nature of the Koran elicits a tedious boredom in the reader. Only a fanatic and probable illiterate, could be 'uplifted' and 'empowered' by the raving declamations. The Koran is a cult document splitting the world into two parts. Those who follow Muhammad [known as Allah in the Koran], are blessed. Those who reject the Koran and the Muhammad-Allah nexus are cursed and will go to hell. It is impossible to suppose, that such a bifurcation does not impose itself on Islamic 'culture' on the busy minds so earnestly venerating and submitting their useless lives to their twin idols.
In this chapter out of 60 verses only 22 preach hate, intolerance and destruction of non-Moslems.
As this chapter again makes clear, those who reject Muhammad and the Koran – the liars, the criminals, the sinners, and the rebellious --are to be fed to the fires of Hell:

Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Qur'an). |

Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Qur'an) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). |

Cursed be the liars, |
|
|
Who are under a cover of heedlessness (think not about the gravity of the Hereafter), |
|
|
They ask; "When will be the Day of Recompense?" |
|
|
(It will be) a Day when they will be tried (i.e. burnt) over the Fire! |
|
|
"Taste you your trial (burning)! This is what you used to ask to be hastened!" |
The Hebrew Lot is recast as a Moslem, and the story of Sodom, in which apparently the Al-Lah deity eradicates the city of sinners near the Dead Sea excepting for Lot and his family [since they were pure in belief], is used to warn the Jews of their impending doom. The Jews are marked out as criminals by the Al-Lah, destined for punishment, since in the time of Muhammad the Jews had rejected the true 'Lord' of Mecca:

Marked by your Lord for the Musrifun (polytheists, criminals, sinners those who trespass Allah's set limits in evil-doings by committing great sins). |

So We brought out from therein the believers. |
|
|
But We found not there any household of the Muslims except one [i.e. Lout (Lot) and his two daughters]. |
|
|
And We have left there a sign (i.e. the place of the Dead Sea, well-known in Palestine) for those who fear the painful torment. |
Warnings to the Infidel repeat what many Sura's including chapter 46, stated about the Al-lah idol destroying civilizations in Arabia, Egypt and Mesopotamia long before the advent of Muhammad's 'prophecy'. Indeed even Noah was punished for his 'sins' by the Meccan idol. This conflation of Al-lah with all other 'gods' tries to legitimize Muhammad's family deity and the male moon idol and 'Lord' of the Meccan Kabaa:

But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] turned away (from Belief in might) along with his hosts, and said: "A sorcerer, or a madman." |
|
|
So We took him and his hosts, and dumped them into the sea, while he was to be blamed. |
|
|
And in 'Ad (there is also a sign) when We sent against them the barren wind; |
|
|
It spared nothing that it reached, but blew it into broken spreads of rotten ruins. |
|
|
And in Thamud (there is also a sign), when they were told: "Enjoy yourselves for a while!" |
|
|
But they insolently defied the Command of their Lord, so the Sa'iqah overtook them while they were looking. |
|
|
Then they were unable to rise up, nor could they help themselves. |
|
|
(So were) the people of Nuh (Noah) before them. Verily, they were a people who were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). |
Christians are warned not to associate anything with the Al-Lah deity. To do so is a sin. The Arab pagans are also 'warned' not to call Muhammad a madman. Notice the confusion in the Koran, which is rampant, between 'We' and 'I', or between the narrative voice of Allah, Muhammad or both.

And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. |

|
Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" |
|
|
Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! |
Al-Lah is omnipotent and demands your submission. You must simply submit and follow his [or Muhammad's rules]. Not to do so is to invite a certain torment.

And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). |
|
|
I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). |
|
|
Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. |
|
|
And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! |
|
|
Then, woe to those who disbelieve (in Allah and His Oneness Islamic Monotheism) from (that) their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment). |
Western trained liberal arts Phds and cultural Marxist warriors will no doubt find the above inspirational metaphysics, full of love and harmony. When studied objectively however, there is no religious dogma whatsoever in this chapter nor anywhere else in this book. The theme is obvious, missed only by ideologues who reject reason and enquiry. Moslems are superior, and the Infidel criminal will and must be destroyed. So spaketh Al-Lah [or Muhammad].
