Western Civilisation

Until the advent of materialism and 19th c. dogma, Western Civilisation was  superior to anything Islam had developed.  Islam has not aided in the development of the modern world; in fact civilisation has only been created in spite of Islam.  Proof of this resides in the 'modern' world and the unending political-economic and spiritual poverty of Muslim states and regions.  Squatting on richer civilisations is not 'progress'.  Islam is pagan, totalitarian, and irrational.

Book Review: Brigitte Gabriel, “They Must be Stopped”. 2009. 240 pages.

'They' meaning Muslims. Dhimmi-wits will not like this book.

by Ferdinand III

Anyone concerned about the Muslim assault on the world at large needs to read this. Gabriel presents a very good overview of Islam, its cultural and military jihad and the viciousness of the assault that the West has faced, and still confronts, 1400 years after the founding of the Arab moon cult. Gabriel is a Lebanese Christian, saved by Israeli soldiers from almost a certain demise at the hands of Muslims in the 20 year Lebanese civil war – won by Islam – who fled to the US and a new life. She is the founder and director of www.ActforAmerica.org, an important and powerful voice in trying to stop the Islamicization of North America. She makes it very clear in this book that the intent of Islam is not peaceful tolerance, nor the Golden Rule [which does not exist in the Koran], but the complete subjugation of the world to Allah.

Gabriel writes, “As Westerners/infidels, we must face these bitter truths, and face them together. Jihad is in every country in the Western world. Jihad may appear peaceful to you now, but its intentions are not.” [p. 205] She is right and she should know. She comes from Lebanon which was once a European statelet which thrived in the barbarism of the Islamic-soaked Middle East. Pre-1970 Lebanon was a pluralist country, run mostly by Christians. After 20 years of Islamic jihad fomented by Arafat and the PLO, and Syria, Lebanon is now a Muslim majority country, with Hizbollah ruling the southern half with hundreds of thousands of dead Maronite Christians and non-Muslims littering the landscape. Islam is peace ? Only for dhmmis and dhimmi-wits.

Gabriel incorrectly calls Islam a religion. It isn't. A religion has three components:

1.  The Golden Rule,  2.  Free Will and 3.  Rationality and Reason.

Only Christianity has developed all three components. Zen Buddhism and Hinduism contain the first. Islamic theology has none of the three.  Judaism is still mired in much mysticism and a disavowal of progress.

That is about the only criticism I would have of the book - albeit it is a major one. Once you divorce Islam from being a religion it becomes far easier to see the cult for what it is – a pagan fascism intent on world supremacy. The similarities with Nazism and Communism become clearer to discern. At least Gabriel rejects the idea of 'moderate' Islam as having any importance. I have written for a long time, that there is little which is moderate about either the Koran or the theology of Islam. Moderate Islam simply does not exist – not if you believe in Sharia, the Hadiths or sayings of Mohammed and the Koran.

“Most Germans were moderate as well. Their moderation did not stop the Nazis from killing 14 million people in concentration camps and costing the world 60 million lives. Most Russians were peaceful as well. However, Russian Communists coast the world 20 million lives.” [p. 55]

Very true. Moderates within a fascist cult might or might not exist. It matters not. What matters is the ideology. And in actual fact Russian fascism killed more than 30 millions and the Nazi war on the world more than 70 millions including 21 million Russians. But no matter.

What I liked about the book was Gabriel's depiction of Islam's total barbarity and how the movement will use military, economic and most vitally in America, and Europe, cultural forces to achieve its ultimate objectives. Witness the carnage inflicted in the name of the moon cult;

“Islam is responsible for the murders of 270 million people across the world – more than any other religion on earth.” [p. 3] “...120 million Africans, 60 million Christians; 80 million Hindus, and 10 million Buddhists.” [p. 38] “According to esteemed Belgium historian Koenraad Elst, the Hindu population in Western and Central Asia was conquered by Muslims in 1399 and forced to convert or face death. Elst explains that 80 million Hindus have been slaughtered by Islamic forces since the year 1000, around the time Afghanistan was dominated by Islamic rule.” [p.191]

The Indian genocide by Islam is one of the most unrecognized and little commented upon crimes in history. I have read other accounts that put the total Hindu-Buddhist death toll over 800 years of warring at 150 millions. Gabriel is wrong in one respect [or Elst]. Islam had started its conquest of India in the 8th century, not the 11th. There were 3 major campaigns which ended as Elst says in the late 14th or early 15th century. It was not a jihad of peace or inner striving as the smart people in the West keep informing us. It was total war.

She spends a lot of time quite rightly, on the cultural jihad within the West. Cultural Marxism which laid out a plan to destroy the West from within, has given the Muslims the tenets and principles to first control, than change, and than supersede Western culture. We see it at work most effectively in Europe. The Europeans made an open alliance with the Arabs – to oppose US hegemony and gain access to Arab oil. But they have sold their souls and their Continent to Faust.

“The EEC, and later the EU, increased their alignment with Arab policy which strongly opposes Israel and its defender, the United States. Most Arab countries refuse to have diplomatic relations with Israel and refuse to acknowledge its existence....Europe has granted – a European political commitment against Israel and an alignment with the Arab League.” [p. 134-5]

“In January 2007, Britain's Daily Mail, ran an article entitled, 'Multiculturalism Drives Young Muslims to Shun British Values.' ....has alienated an entire generation of young Muslims and made them increasingly radical.” [p. 144]

More than half of Russia could be Muslim by 2050 given the growth rate of Muslim demography. [p. 150]

Islamic law is taking hold in the West. 85 Sharia courts now operate in Britain. Sharia based financing is burgeoning. “The $18 billion in assets of Britain's banks are said to dwarf those of [many] Muslim states..” [p. 12]

Europe's current demise is most likely North America's future. Gabriel does a good job of explaining the plan by the Muslim Brotherhood for Islamic governance in North America, including Sharia Law. Cultural Jihad is being funded with Arab money, with many colleges, schools and mosques also being funded with tax dollars. This cultural jihad includes targeting American Blacks for conversion even though Islam is decidedly racist, anti-Black and “...throughout history, Islam has placed blacks on the same level as barn animals.” [p. 84]

The Arabs and Muslims view the cultural Jihad as the predominant front-line in the war between Islam and the West.

As Gabriel makes clear, Islam's agenda is universalist: “Establishing Islam as the dominant religion on earth and making the whole world submit to it becomes the ultimate goal. These devout Muslims are not restricted by Western social constructs. Murder is perfectly acceptable as a way to accomplish their goal.” [p. 57]

There is nothing of similarity between Western culture and Islam. As Gabriel relates, Muslim clerics view Christianity as a doctrine of peace and charity, whilst Islam is one of bold aggression and dominance. It is that reality – that Islam is a cult dedicated to submitting others to the moon deity Allah – that needs to be emphasized. Islam is not a religion but a warring political program. Gabriel's book will tell the reader why that fact needs to be recognized and addressed.

If not we will all be Dhimmis.
