Until the advent of materialism and 19th c. dogma, Western Civilisation was superior to anything Islam had developed. Islam has not aided in the development of the modern world; in fact civilisation has only been created in spite of Islam. Proof of this resides in the 'modern' world and the unending political-economic and spiritual poverty of Muslim states and regions. Squatting on richer civilisations is not 'progress'. Islam is pagan, totalitarian, and irrational.
Moderate Islam is a myth. There is nothing in Islamic history, its rather unholy book the Koran, or in the life of its founder, nor in the sayings of its leaders over 1400 years which is moderate. Islamic racism, supremacism, slave trading, misogyny, terror, blood lust, and imperialism have all been decidedly immoderate. The ideology of the Meccan moon cult does not even possess the Golden Rule and only 2% or less of Koranic verses [see here ] have any positive expressions of what might be termed an ethical code – but even these only apply to Muslims. Non-Muslims are excluded.
Islam is simply an ideology of 'Submission' to the moon deity Ali-ilah, who was a pagan male-moon idol protected by the family of Mohammed who were a part of the ruling Quraysh tribe of Mecca. This prostration to a what is in essence a city and tribal cult, is premised on following in a mindless ritualization of life, the Koran or 'Recitation'. The Koran is deemed to be the 'pure' word of this moon deity given to Mohammed in Arabic, by the angel Gabriel over 23 years from 610 AD to 633 AD [when Mohammed died]. The Mohammedan ideal of the moon deity is conflated in the West to be the same as the Judeo-Christian ideal of 'God'. The two ideals have of course, nothing in common.
Mindlessness is a good term to describe Islam. For anyone who has suffered through the Koran, the emptiness, the violence, the racism, the call to war and intolerance, scream off of every page. Only a cult devotee would describe the Koran as 'religious', 'holy' or 'poetic'. It is gibberish from start to finish. This poorly written and disorganized work has to be supplemented with 'hadiths' or the sayings of Mohammed which attempt to make sense of the 'turgid, verbose and shapeless' Koran [to quote Churchill]. Recitation is an apt word to describe Muslim ritual. Recite, obey, shut up. Rather clear and not very nuanced.
Islamic expert Robert Spencer wrote a great piece at www.jihadwatch.org about the radical, immoderate nature of Islam premised on the radical, immoderate Koran. The two can't be divorced. You can't go around in your multicultural piety and declaim that Islam is peace and wonderment. This is sheer ignorance. All around us across the entire globe, on a weekly basis, people are murdered, wars are prosecuted, women are stoned to death, and acts of terror are legion. Non-Muslims, apostates, or those Muslims who are insufficiently Islamic, are butchered because the Koran adjures the slaying of infidels and any who have angered the Islamic moon cult. The life and example of Islam's founder acts gives even more impetus to the Muslim obsession to kill, rule, slave trade and plunder.
The cultural Marxist vapidity is reflected by the Great Black Jesus himself – a onetime Muslim – who assures us peasants that Islam is all good and glory:
"Barack Obama has removed all mention of Islam from the National Security Strategy document, which during the Bush Administration said: “The struggle against militant Islamic radicalism is the great ideological conflict of the early years of the 21st century.” Obama apparently agrees with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who said Monday: “Islam and terrorism cannot be mentioned together, because they are contradictory to each other.”
Erdogan, incidentally, also famously said this about “moderate Islam”: “These descriptions are very ugly, it is offensive and an insult to our religion. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s it.” And that statement itself demonstrates one of the key fallacies of the Obama Administration’s stance that Islam has nothing to do with, uh, Islamic terrorism." [Spencer]
Islam was spread by terror and war. Some 300 million people have died over 1400 years in the Islamic jihad. Some 20 million whites were taken from Europe – many thousands even along the far stretches of the English and Welsh coasts – into the heartland of Greater Arabia as slaves. Some 10 to 20 million Blacks were slave traded into the Islamic empires, most to perish in the salt, mineral and other mines of the Muslim caliphate. Slavery of 'the other' on this scale is without precedent in world history, possibly only rivalled by the Chinese empires who enslaved conquered Sino-tribes, but most certainly dwarfing the slave trading of the Roman and Greek empires whose economies were premised as much, or more, on white as non-white based slavery.
Slave trading is of course sanctioned in the Koran:
33:50 - "Prophet, We have made lawful to you the wives to whom you have granted dowries and the slave girls whom God has given you as booty."
This verse clearly shows that Muslims believe that taking slaves in war was a God-given right. Slaves were considered 'booty' or the spoils of war. Islam was not spread by love and commitment group hugs, or happy carefree preachers expostulating a higher ethical ideal. It was spread by war, and much of that warring was to acquire women, slaves and wealth.
Having sex with captured females was also encouraged: 23:5 - "... except with their wives and slave girls, for these are lawful to them:..." As stated in Suras 4:3, 4:29, and 33:49, sex with enslaved females is not only allowed, but expected. Why else would you go to war if not for the babes, the gold and the benefits and profits of slave trading? In Sura 16:77 slavery is enshrined as normal with, 'slaves .. as helpless before their masters as idols are before God.' In other words, slavery is an accepted norm and to be embraced not stopped. This is the opposite of Christianity which regards enslavement as immoral and evil and which as a collective was responsible for ending slavery in Europe in the 9th century AD and again in the 'New World' during the 19th. Without Christianity slavery would still be a feature of 'modern' life.
Mohammed led by example, dealing in dozens of slaves and having sex with many slave girls. He even married the beautiful Jewish daughter of a Jewish tribal leader that he had beheaded. As Islamic scholar al-Jawziyya, in his book "Zad al-Ma'ad" relates on page 160:
"Muhammad had many male and female slaves. He used to buy and sell them, but he purchased more slaves then he sold. He once sold one black slave for two. His purchases of slaves were more than he sold."
I don't recall Christ engaging in slavery, brigandage, concubinal sex, or the perverted lusts of having intercourse with a 9 year old girl [Aisha]. But then again maybe I have the wrong translation of the Bible.
Islam is anything but moderate. It certainly has nothing to do with peace, love and multi-cultural harmony. The Koran advocates military jihad; terror; slave trading; sex with any women within your power; and profiteering from war. It demands ritualization and 'recitation' of the word of the Mohammedan 'God'. Shut up, recite, obey and spread the cult. There is nothing moderate about such a political theology. Infidels need to demand from Muslims proof of Islam's supposed and much-vaunted 'tolerance'. It doesn't exist and it never has. Unless Muslims can prove that the Koran has been reformed, updated and infused with true faith, we should assume that an immoderate work, spawns an immoderate cult - one in which slave trading still goes on even today.
