The key to the Koran is that it is a call to arms. It adjures war, plunder and supremacism. This Sura is no different. The main theme of Sura 90 or the City of Makkah [Mecca], is that the Infidel non-Moslem will be destroyed.

And you are free (from sin, to punish the enemies of Islam on the Day of the conquest) in this city (Makkah),

Free from sin? Only Muttaqun, or a Muhsin who follows all of the rules of Islamic theology and Muhammadan commandments can be free from 'sin'. Ignoring the El-Lah moon deity and tribal idol, no matter how 'good', tolerant, charitable and perfect a man you might be is to invite punishment, hell and destruction.

090:019
But those who disbelieved in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), they are those on the Left Hand (the dwellers of Hell).

090:020
The Fire will be shut over them (i.e. they will be enveloped by the Fire without any opening or window or outlet.

More lurid tales of Infidel annihilation. Ayat or the signs are everything. Any natural event would be Ayat. Your eyes, your ears, your mind, your hair and your ability to walk upright are all Ayat. Allah is thus everything – a dialectical power that humans can't understand. Just being alive is proof that Allah rules. This is a tautological irrationality and one held dear as 'proof' by Moslems of their cult's superiority. To an objective observer it just sounds very banal and stupid:

Have We not made for him a pair of eyes?

And a tongue and a pair of lips?

090:010
And shown him the two ways (good and evil)?

But he has made no effort to pass on the path that is steep.

And what will make you know the path that is steep?

To be fair this is only the second Sura which does promote some religious ideal, but only for Moslems. When the Koran speaks of charity, love and tolerance it is for Moslems. As 90:19 and 20 make clear, those who do not follow the cult are to be killed or doomed to Hell.

(It is) Freeing a neck (slave, etc.)

Or giving food in a day of hunger (famine),

To an orphan near of kin.

Or to a Miskin (poor) afflicted with misery.

Then he became one of those who believed, and recommended one another to perseverance and patience, and (also) recommended one another to pity and compassion.

090:018
They are those on the Right Hand (the dwellers of Paradise),

Moslems do not help poor Infidels. Moslems do not give charity to Jews or Christians. Moslems are not even allowed to take Infidels as friends, advisers or husbands. Freeing slaves who convert to Islam can empower the cult by increasing its numbers. Today of course slavery is still widespread within Moslem lands including the slave trafficking of whites, a fact that Moslems cannot explain or dismiss. The Koran of course encourages slavery. As well Moslems are not permitted to free slaves who apostatize or become non-Moslems. One of Islam's earliest converts was Muhammad's black slave Zaid. Muhammad lusted after his wife and conveniently received approval in the form of a revelation from 'Allah' who is of course Muhammad's alter-ego.

Less than 2% of the Koran has anything nice to say. These words are for Moslems only, not for Infidels. This Sura is just another example of that base fact.
