Until the advent of materialism and 19th c. dogma, Western Civilisation was superior to anything Islam had developed. Islam has not aided in the development of the modern world; in fact civilisation has only been created in spite of Islam. Proof of this resides in the 'modern' world and the unending political-economic and spiritual poverty of Muslim states and regions. Squatting on richer civilisations is not 'progress'. Islam is pagan, totalitarian, and irrational.

There are 'only' 1600 verses in the Koran which are violent, supremacist, racist, intolerant and hateful. Surely a 'moderate' amount for any Bronze-age inspired cult. In Sura 21 or 'The Prophets' only 25% of the text is hate speech against Christians. How moderate. The Koranic insanity does become tiresome. In this chapter all the tired reader is told that all of the Jewish and Christian prophets were apparently acolytes of the Allah-thing, or the 'Lord' of Mecca.

And We sent not before you (O Muhammad SAW) but men to whom We inspired, so ask the people of the Reminder [Scriptures - the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel)] if you do not know. |

And We did not create them (the Messengers, with) bodies that ate not food, nor were they immortals, |
Christ is clearly presented here as a man, and other other prophets sent by the 'We' of Islam, though the pronoun We is never defined [Muhammad and Allah together?].
Islam was invented in 610 AD so it is unlikely that say Noah, or Elijah had a bloody clue about the moon deity worship and idols within Mecca. Ilah or ilah, means of course 'the one', it does not mean god, and it references the 'one supreme god', Hub'Al the moon deity who was also conveniently enough, the idol which was caretakered by Muhammad's family. Muhammad's full name is Muhammad Abdullah – slave of Allah.
To be diplomatic, one has to be completely stupid to forward the idea that Moslems-in-toto, or Islam in its policratic cult manifesto named Mein Koran, tolerate Christians. As every long Sura makes perfectly clear, Christians are criminals, polytheists who believe in a Trinitarian Godhead, and are thus linked to evil and will be punished in this life and the next for rejecting the Allah-thing, Muhammad and the Koran; all of which tautologically are presented as 'proofs' of the Allah things omnipotence and divinity.

Then We fulfilled to them the promise, and We saved them and those whom We willed, but We destroyed Al-Musrifun (i.e. extravagants in oppression, polytheism and in sin). |
Christians worship other gods and idols, other than Allah – a capital crime in Islamic intolerance. Christ was just a Moslem and he cannot intercede on anyone's behalf, except those of the chosen Moslem Umma, chosen by Allah. All non-Moslems are condemned and doomed by the Allah-thing, since the Lord of Mecca is the only free-will force in the universe:

Nay, We fling (send down) the truth (this Qur'an) against the falsehood (disbelief), so it destroys it, and behold, it (falsehood) is vanished. And woe to you for that (lie) which you ascribe (to Us) (against Allah by uttering that Allah has a wife and a son). |

Had there been therein (in the heavens and the earth) gods besides Allah, then verily both would have been ruined. Glorified be Allah, the Lord of the Throne, (High is He) above what they attribute to Him! |

Or have they taken for worship (other) aliha (gods) besides Him? Say: "Bring your proof:" This (the Qur'an) is the Reminder for those with me and the Reminder for those before me. But most of them know not the Truth, so they are averse. |

|
And We did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad SAW) but We inspired him (saying): La ilaha illa Ana [none has the right to be worshipped but I (Allah)], so worship Me (Alone and none else)." |

|
And they [Christians] say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or children)." Glory to Him! They [those whom they call children of Allah i.e. the angels, 'Iesa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary), 'Uzair (Ezra), etc.], are but honoured slaves. |

|
They speak not until He has spoken, and they act on His Command. |
|
|
He knows what is before them, and what is behind them, and they [Jesus etc.] cannot intercede except for him with whom He is pleased [ie. Only Moslems]. And they stand in awe for fear of Him. |
Christians are thus criminal polytheists, who do not worship only Allah and for this crime they are to be compensated with death and torture:

And if any of them should say: "Verily, I am an ilah (a god) besides Him (Allah)," such a one We should recompense with Hell. Thus We recompense the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.). |
Christians and anyone else who reject the 'proofs' of Islam, namely the Qur'an which is the final book of divine 'grace' and knowledge; Muhammad, and the Allah thing's omnipotence, shall be destroyed:

Indeed, We have sent down for you (O mankind) a Book, (the Qur'an) in which there is Dhikrukum, (your Reminder or an honour for you i.e. honour for the one who follows the teaching of the Qur'an and acts on its orders). Will you not then understand? |

How many a town (community), that were wrong-doers, have We destroyed, and raised up after them another people! |
|
|
Then, when they perceived (saw) Our Torment (coming), behold, they (tried to) flee from it. |
|
|
Flee not, but return to that wherein you lived a luxurious life, and to your homes, in order that you may be questioned. |
|
|
They cried: "Woe to us! Certainly! We have been Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.)." |
|
|
He cannot be questioned as to what He does, while they will be questioned. [note; only Allah has free will] |
|
|
Certainly! You (disbelievers) and that which you are worshipping now besides Allah, are (but) fuel for Hell! (Surely), you will enter it. |

|
Had these (idols, etc.) been aliha (gods), they would not have entered there (Hell), and all of them will abide therein. |
Allah is the only free-will force in the universe and since he or 'We' sent Jesus, the Christian 'prophet', who was really a Moslem according to the Koran, Christ will not be sent to hell. But Christian polytheists will be treated differently. Since Christ was really a Moslem, his followers should renounce Christian and Trinitarian theology and likewise become Moslems. If they don't convert to the cult of Muhammad they will be driven into hell and destroyed.

Verily those for whom the good has preceded from Us, they will be removed far therefrom (Hell) [e.g. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary); 'Uzair (Ezra), etc.]. |

They shall not hear the slightest sound of it (Hell), while they abide in that which their ownselves desire. |
|
|
The greatest terror (on the Day of Resurrection) will not grieve them, and the angels will meet them, (with the greeting): "This is your Day which you were promised." |

|
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "It is revealed to me that your Ilah (God) is only one Ilah (God - Allah). Will you then submit to His Will (become Muslims and stop worshipping others besides Allah)?" |
And:

And when those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah) see you (O Muhammad SAW), they take you not except for mockery (saying): "Is this the one who talks (badly) about your gods?" While they disbelieve at the mention of the Most Beneficent (Allah). [Tafsir. Al-Qurtubi]. |

If only those who disbelieved knew (the time) when they will not be able to ward off the Fire from their faces, nor from their backs; and they will not be helped. |
|
|
Nay, it (the Fire or the Day of Resurrection) will come upon them all of a sudden and will perplex them, and they will have no power to avert it, nor will they get respite. |

|
Truly! This, your Ummah [Sharia or religion (Islamic Monotheism)] is one religion, and I am your Lord, therefore worship Me (Alone). [Tafsir Ibn Kathir] |
It is clear that Allah and Koranic theology hate Christians. In this Sura Christians are going to roast in hell. Neither Christ, nor any intercessor, will be able to save them. Intercession is impossible since only the Allah-thing has free-will and he has already determined circa 610 AD, that all Christians are doomed, no matter how charitable, pure, genteel, caring or loving they might be. By rejecting the 'ayats' or proofs of the moon cult, the Christians have sealed their fate. This fatalistic savagery, devoid of any variant of religiosity is now deemed by big-brains to be a 'religion'. So too was Shinto fascism.
