Until the advent of materialism and 19th c. dogma, Western Civilisation was superior to anything Islam had developed. Islam has not aided in the development of the modern world; in fact civilisation has only been created in spite of Islam. Proof of this resides in the 'modern' world and the unending political-economic and spiritual poverty of Muslim states and regions. Squatting on richer civilisations is not 'progress'. Islam is pagan, totalitarian, and irrational.

Most of this Sura is an expostulation of the delights of Paradise which await those who mindlessly follow Muhammad's prattle about what his family's deity the moon-idol Hub'Al or the 'One' [ilah] demands of humans. Follow the stricture of the Allah-idol or thing and heaven awaits with untold delights and pleasures including young boys for your pleasure and service.
76:12 And their [Moslems] recompense shall be Paradise, and silken garments, because they were patient 76:13 Reclining therein on raised thrones, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive bitter cold, (as in Paradise there is no sun and no moon). 76:19 And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls.
Each Moslem believer sits enthroned like a King or perhaps a demi-god waited on by nubile youth as pretty as pearls.
However if you disobey or disbelieve then torture is your destiny both temporal and eternal. Perversely the Koran states that Allah is the only free-will force in the universe and he leads those astray that he wants to disbelieve. He then kills and tortures these unfortunates. This callous, sick and psychopathic perversity permeates Koranic culture. Allah wills it, ergo those whom he leads astray are doomed and must be killed in this world and tortured in the next.
76:29 Verily! This (Verses of the Qur'an) is an admonition, so whosoever wills, let him take a Path to his Lord (Allah).
76:30 But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise.
You cannot follow Islam unless the Allah-idol, Hubal, Muhammad's family deity who take care of his shrine, wants you to follow him or it. Bizarre. If Allah 'wills' you to disbelieve your fate is awful:
79:31 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will and as for the Zalimun, (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) He has prepared a painful torment.
Such fiery, blazing tolerance from the cult of Muhammad:
76:04 Verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers iron chains, iron collars, and a blazing Fire.
76:27 Verily! These (disbelievers) love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day (that will be hard).
On the day of Moslem Judgement Allah will accept the pious Moslems into heaven and damn the rest. He is able to torture and eternally punished the disbelievers because he caused them to disbelieve in the first place. What sane person thinks such a tautology is either religious or reasonable ?
