Until the advent of materialism and 19th c. dogma, Western Civilisation was superior to anything Islam had developed. Islam has not aided in the development of the modern world; in fact civilisation has only been created in spite of Islam. Proof of this resides in the 'modern' world and the unending political-economic and spiritual poverty of Muslim states and regions. Squatting on richer civilisations is not 'progress'. Islam is pagan, totalitarian, and irrational.
Violence and slavery are at the core of cults. Slavery within the cult of Muhammad takes on the following main forms – all discussed and elaborated upon by Muhammad's chief control document named 'Recital':
-All females are the slaves of Moslem men
-All Infidels are the slaves of Moslems
-Moslems are the slaves of Al-Lah
It certainly is rather queer that a cult of slavery is piously defended by post-moderns and the well-meaning as a 'religion'. Over 10 % of the Koran discusses slavery. This is an obvious indication of slavery's importance in Muhammadan Arabia, as well as its centrality in Koranic theology. Islam is little more than the expression of pagan Arab practices merged into a confused jumble-mash of monotheism.
In Sura 36 named 'Ya Sin', reviewed here, we see the twin and related themes of violence and slavery. 22% of this chapter issues threats and declamations against non-Moslems. Some choice language includes:

This is Hell which you were promised! |

Burn therein this Day, for that you used to disbelieve. |
|
|
This Day, We shall seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness to what they used to earn. (It is said that one's left thigh will be the first to bear the witness). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 22, Page 24] |
And
|
Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. |
|
|
And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. |
Heartwarming. The tolerance of the cult of Muhammad.
Slavery is never far behind violence in the rites of a cult. Humans who are not the slaves of Al-Lah are criminals:
|
They (Messengers) said: "Your evil omens be with you! (Do you call it "evil omen") because you are admonished? Nay, but you are a people Musrifun (transgressing all bounds by committing all kinds of great sins, and by disobeying Allah). |
Christians are criminals because they worship a Trinity and are not pliant slaves of Al-Lah:

"Shall I take besides Him aliha (gods), if the Most Beneficent (Allah) intends me any harm, their intercession will be of no use for me whatsoever, nor can they save me? |

|
"Then verily, I should be in plain error. |
If you reject either Muhammad or his family idol, the Lord or Al-Lah you are dead:
|
That he or it (Muhammad SAW or the Qur'an) may give warning to him who is living (a healthy minded the believer), and that Word (charge) may be justified against the disbelievers (dead, as they reject the warnings). |
The depressing theme and cant is all to easy to understand. Mindless supplication and knavery to his idol is what Muhammad is proposing. The threats to Unbelievers are lurid and real enough. They are a part of the Moslem-Koranic culture. Divorcing the odes to slavery and violence from Islam, is as ridiculous as trying to separate sand particles from the beach.
