Until the advent of materialism and 19th c. dogma, Western Civilisation was superior to anything Islam had developed. Islam has not aided in the development of the modern world; in fact civilisation has only been created in spite of Islam. Proof of this resides in the 'modern' world and the unending political-economic and spiritual poverty of Muslim states and regions. Squatting on richer civilisations is not 'progress'. Islam is pagan, totalitarian, and irrational.
In Sura 52, 'The Mount', 33% of the text, or 17 verses out of 49, is hate speech against the Infidel. Moderate by Koranic standards. Much of the rest demands supine submission, an indirect but critical thematic. Slavery and violence are the two animating forces of pagan cults. Violence against non-Moslems consumes about 25% or more of the Koran. Slavery, or admonitions therein to have women enslaved to men; Infidels to Moslems; and humans to the Meccan idol the Hub'Al i-lah; constitute at least 10% of Muhammad's book 'Recital'.
Then woe that Day to the beliers;
Who are playing in falsehood.
The Day when they will be pushed down by force to the Fire of Hell, with a horrible, forceful pushing.
This is the Fire which you used to belie.
Is this magic, or do you not see?
Taste you therein its heat, and whether you are patient of it or impatient of it, it is all the same. You are only being requited for what you used to do.
Verily, the Muttaqun (pious - see V.2:2) will be in Gardens (Paradise), and Delight.
Pious Moslems will win, criminals, the 'beliers' who 'deny' the 'truth' and path of Muhammad and recital are to be consumed in hell-fire, after they have been tortured, humiliated or crucified [5:33] in this lifetime. Charming.
The Mount or Mount Sinai, is an effort of course to displace Moses and Jewish monotheism with that of the Al-Lah thing. Anyone who has read the Koran will know and be surprised surely to learn; that Moses the Hebrew political, military and spiritual leader was in fact a prophet of the Meccan moon idol the i-lah or 'One', namely Hub'Al, who was also Muhammad's family deity. Moses is now refracted through the prism of Moslem fantasy to be an earnest 'warner' of Al-Lah. Muhammad as the 'last warner' supersedes the feeble efforts of the Jew cum Moslem practitioner. In this vein Muhammad's word is the final and 'real' word. Moses and his Jewish creation transgressed the objectives, purity and intent of the Al-Lah idol. Muhammad was chosen to straighten everything out. With him lies the final word, the final solution to the problems of life; the final testament of the i-Lah thing and idol.
From this theme slavery is easily envisaged. If Muhammad is greater than any other prophet or human in history, it only stands to reason that to achieve perfection we must emulate this man. As well it is only logical that if the above is true, everything he said, did and demanded must perforce be both holy and right. Chaining yourself to Koranic demands and ritualizing your life to appease the regulatory strictures of Muhammad, is the only way to temporal and post-death success and salvation. In essence a theology of slavery. Or maybe just the cant of someone who was insane?
52:29 You shall remind the people. With your Lord's blessing's upon you, you are neither a soothsayer, nor crazy.
The Koran has many verses denying that Muhammad was mentally unbalanced. Extant documents including the Hadiths confirm that Muhammad admitted going insane at age 40, when he received his first 'revelations'. Epilepsy ? Cancer ? Tumours ? Who knows, but as the Koran supports something was wrong with this man and his world-view, a fact born out by his violence, warring, murdering, plundering and addiction to his sex harem. Muhammad is uber alles, the Al-Lah thing said so:
52:48 You shall steadfastly persevere in carrying out your Lord's command - you are in our eyes - and glorify and praise your Lord when you get up
If you don't enslave yourself mindlessly to this cult, you are doomed:
52:47 Those who transgress suffer retribution here, but most of them do not know.
Violence and slavery are the opposites of religiosity. The Koran is the anti-thesis of a real theological framework – the anti-Christian cult as it were.
