Until the advent of materialism and 19th c. dogma, Western Civilisation was superior to anything Islam had developed. Islam has not aided in the development of the modern world; in fact civilisation has only been created in spite of Islam. Proof of this resides in the 'modern' world and the unending political-economic and spiritual poverty of Muslim states and regions. Squatting on richer civilisations is not 'progress'. Islam is pagan, totalitarian, and irrational.
In the 56 verses of Sura 74, only 33 are hate-speech against non-Moslems. This is deemed 'tolerant' by the big brains of the multi-cult universe. To disagree is to be a racist. These verses are apparently full of love and compassion, and endless, boundless flexibility for the 'other', non-Moslem:

And We have set none but angels as guardians of the Fire, and We have fixed their number (19) only as a trial for the disbelievers, in order that the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) may arrive at a certainty [that this Qur'an is the truth as it agrees with their Books i.e. their number (19) is written in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] and the believers may increase in Faith (as this Qur'an is the truth) and that no doubts may be left for the people of the Scripture and the believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy) and the disbelievers may say: "What Allah intends by this (curious) example ?" Thus Allah leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none can know the hosts of your Lord but He. And this (Hell) is nothing else than a (warning) reminder to mankind. |

Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. |
The 'magnificent' 19 of 9-11 fame. 19 angels will guard the Fires of Hell, reserved for Jews and Christians who deny Muhammad. These 'criminals' 'in whose hearts is a disease', will be burnt and will be used as a 'warning' to the 'remainder' of mankind. How charitable. Surely in today's cultural Marxist world, these words actually mean that Moslems deeply love and embrace their non-Moslem 'brothers'?
Sura 74 is yet another chapter in which the moon deity is specifically mentioned. Hub'Al, or the male moon diety of Mecca, guarded and propitiated by Muhammad's family, was of course the main 'ilah' or 'one' of Mecca's 360 idols in the Kabaa shrine.
“'What symbol does Allah intend by this?'....Nay, verily by the Moon, and by the Night as it retreats, And by the Dawn as it shines forth, - This is but one of the mighty (portents), A warning to mankind, -”[74:31-36]
The phases of the moon, in both a circadian and seasonal manner, was very important to the Bedouin. Moon worship was common throughout the Near East, with the moon heralding cooler temperatures, the morning dew, and at certain times of the year, perhaps rain or celestial recharge. In all Near Eastern cults the moon deity would be yoked to the sun deity. In the case of Hub'Al, Allat was his consort, though some scholars argue that Hub'Al is the feminine and Allat the masculine. It matters not. What is important is the pagan-celestial theme of Islamic belief.
Allah of course does not mean God in Arabic but simply the Lord or the One. Hub'Al was the chief Lord, conflated by Muhammad into the only idol to be worshipped – an idol above all others. Henotheism transformed into monotheism, a theology he stole from more prosperous and cultivated Jews and Christians. Yet few comment on this.
Arab paganism enshrined both human slavery, and slavish devotion to idols including the restriction of human free-will, in the face of unlimited will to power of the idol in question. A good Moslem is nothing but a good slave of the Allah-thing, which in the mind and intent of Muhammad, is akin to himself.
Slavery is a major theme in Islamic liturgy. This identifies Islam as the opposite of a religion. Cults suppress individuality. Witness the absurdity of these verses:

If you reject Allah you are a wild ass. Dumb, dirty, unclean, worthless. Better to be a slave of Allah, and to follow everything he demands:

About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): |

Pious believers in Muhammad's cult win temporal and heavenly delights. Everyone else is a criminal destined for hell. What is the implication of this nonsense ? You must unwittingly follow whatever the cult of Muhammad and Allah says you should follow. This denies rationality, free-wll and even ethics, since over 1/3 of the Koran is supremacist, violent, racist and misogynist.
Consider the import of these facts. The Allah-force or idol, for some reason picks some people to be saved who will enjoy the benefits of heaven [Muslims]; and forces others [the Unbelievers] to reject Islam and thereby earn an eternity of hell-fire and punishment. This is truly bizarre. Why would a 'God' use pre-destination and 'force' people to reject his theology so they could be killed and punished in a hereafter? Why would not a 'God' want humans to be free, rational, good, honest, and ethical? Why the animus against the Unbeliever by the Allah force?
The hatred of Allah for others cannot be explained away by Moslems. Cult hatred never can be rationalized. The problem in today's world, is that too many people demand that Islam is a religion. It is not. Any cursory reading of Islamic liturgy and theology makes that obvious.
